Marvel 3.75" Appreciation Thread

Hello, Arkers! Went out into the wild today searching for a MU 3.75 Storm...found her, and Shadowland DD, and House of M Spidey! Yes, sir! I'm really impressed with the Spidey! Paint apps on him are great! I love the suit on him! Now...just waiting for the new Marvel Legends Wave 2 to come out down here! Very happy that I am finding almost everything in the stores so I do not have to pay twice the price at my LCS! Happy hunting to all!

i need some help here guys? im going to make another custom cable with the techo virus going crazy on his arm but i dont really know how to make it work speacilly for the hand? i need it to look almos like lady deathstrikes hand but ofcourse with the cable twist? any ideas or advise from you guys would be awesome,,

Could you cut the fingers from ribbed guitar string,bend it where the knuckles are with pliers,then drill holes into an MU palm,glue the wire fingers in and sculpt the flesh over the top,with patches missing to show the techno-organic ribbing beneath the skin?

Or you could try to get the left hand from Games Workshops Space marine Daemon Prince figure,if you go to my Heartbreakers customs in the W.I.P thread the female custom there has that hand,you can see how it looks scale-wise.....

Just thought,you could also try modifying the tentacular arm from the G.I Joe zombie too...

Thanks man , I like yours better. As for your Techno Organic Virus Cable, i wouldnt know where to start, thats way beyond my skills. Proteus gave a good idea on how to do it. Post pics when you get done with that , im sure it will be awesome!

Someone like 300 pages back did a Carnage & venom where they used twisty ties like you would tie bread with and painted it with some kinda stuff that hardens it and I think you could achieve that look you are going for with out as much work

I'm gonna pick up house of M whenever I see him. I've always liked the costume.

My hauls for the week (the picture came out horribly). I broke down an bought the Quinjet and one of the Stark battle armors while they were on sale. Has anyone repainted a Quinjet to be a X-Jet? The single-seater seems more X-Men to me.

Almost got the Cap battle armor instead even though it totally doesn't suit Cap. I was thinking about putting an Iron Patriot in there because these look like just the awkward and over-the-top sort of thing Osborn would use. I may try to re-paint the Iron Man version black and silver for a bulked up War Machine look but I don't really know where to start in doing that. Time to learn I guess.

so i went to TRU (had to get some stuff for my girlfriend's, cousin's baby shower) and got my 5th figure. Doctor Strange

. i still feel like such a rookie though because im not sure which figures are considered "rare"

lol..any help fellas? would be much appreciated

my friend rare is your least concern..if you like the figure buy it..soon you will appreciate them for what they are and not there value or how rare they are.
