All of it is apocalypse and the old they head you will have to dremel and what not I used magnets for the head though so articulation is limited.

yes I will take more pics of nova but my camera sucks atm she is mostly simple female MU and minimates nova hair.

I am planing all heralds, and trying to sculpt with hot glue for startdust but I keep on failing.

Dude, I am SO impressed with your work!
Your kind of customs, where someone uses parts I have in my own collection to pull off something amazing (like Terrax) keep me inspired!
Minimates Nova, huh?!? Damn, i get so many cool parts from that toy line, I'm suprised I did not consider it! That part is clear orange plastic?

I got a Nova helmet I'm working on from the minimates line- gonna make a standard Nova Centurian or three to go with Richard's upcoming figure! For shits, I'll re-purpose some Green Lantern movie figs as ailens Nova Corps members!

As to Stardust, it's got pretty weird anatomy- two forearms connected to the upper arm at the elbow and reversed, horselike lower legs- which you should use a SW Geonosian for.

You could make your Stardust the traditional way, then paint it all silver, add hot glue effects and tint the glue blue with Tamiya clear paints.
Use the old Iron Man line's Century for the staff- I think it's an exact match!

I'm thinking of making up a Rom (whom I love as a character!)- it'll be a real challenge to do him justice!

Anyone got word on preorders yet? I keep checking in here and BBTS but noting so far.
BBTS posts their new frontpage with preorders in the middle of the night too....

GAH! Dont give Whedon any ideas!
There are some great actresses that could play Mockingbird, but Bell aint among them.
Nor is she a great anything- I loved the Spidey movies but not her- nothing about her performance (or the script for that matter, really) matched up with the MJ from the comics.

Hey, if you still need Psylocke, I can hook you up- I gots extras.

you. will. love. it.
A dremmel is the single best tool a customizer or modeler can have- the sanding and cutting wheels alone are worth the price of the tool.

My Craftsman rotary tool (same as a Dremel but less pricey) is on it's last legs after being dropped a million times over the years and I plan on getting the cordless Dremel when I get my tax refund.

A slight word of caution though- the cutting wheel can get pretty hot- for soft plastics you're better off with a desk vise and hand hacksaw (X-acto makes a great hand saw).

Also- WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES WITH THE CUTTING WHEEL!
I took a chunk of cutting wheel into my safety goggles once when it broke- stuck right into the clear plastic lens- right where my eye would have been!

I went back to Wal-mart last night and found that there was still one Sinister/Gambit two pack on the peg so I picked that and the Daredevil/Bullseye two pack up as well.

How did I get myself sucked back into this line again?!?

Thats good to know and I will certainly keep an eye open, I don't mind the prices too much in the UK it's just the real lack of product that is frustrating unless you want to deal with specialist stores (no LCS near me sadly)

The UK is a dead zone for whole product lines sadly but I will put a ad in the wanteds and see what pops up,

Thanks for the advice

Went to target and found the thanos/warlock pack, had to grab it even for $18. With thus and my GOG pack IvE finally got a nice little marvel cosmic group going. Just need to get Galactus with surfer and then Nova and Black Bolt when they come out later on down the line. (hopefully Terrax too)

That was Kirsten Dunst, not Kristen Bell.

So I drove all around my area today and only came across one fig that I wanted which was Yellowjacket. It's probably for the best though as I've spent WAY too much money on MU this week.

I'd hoped to find a Galactus at one of the TRUs that's not in my area as it's a good store for having older stuff in stock but alas it was a no go. I sold mine off a couple months back when I thought I was done collecting, guess that was a big whoops, lol.
