yeah, sorry for the confusion everyone, I just meant that I told my LCS that I def wanted the wave, so when they get it in, they will set the entire wave aside for me (which I thought was pretty cool)...

12.49...but it beats gas and hunting, they said they could prob do 10.99/piece since i am taking the entire wave

AVX is the storyline book while Avengers Vs. X-Men is the actual one-on-one fights.
The each book is suposed to have two 10-page fight stories in it.
First up was Iron Man vs. Magneto and Namor vs. Thing.
Both stories were nicely done and made perfect sense- no jobbing or anything but both had real suprises.

I've said it many times and I'll say ot again: Iron Man is only really handled right outside his own comic! He rocks in AVX, Captain America and Avengers this month! War Machine too!

Though I'll admit, the New Iron Man loooks interesting!

They could have at least give him the upper legs from the Cyclops buck so he'd have thich swivels....

Hmmm...how hard is it to safely swap the upper torso of a MU fig? Will hot water let that happen with no breaking?

If so, I might swap the lower half of my movie Cap with a spare Steve Rogers to get a taller Cap with more articulation.

Yup, pretty much just a repaint (big surprise from MU). They lost the utility belt and gave him two of the same hands so he can hold things in each now. Other than that; just different paint apps.

$15 is pretty good for the DD set! Cheaper than carded figs, certainly- and both of those figs kick ass!
Amazing custom fodder as well- I'm looking for another set to maybe make a new Magneto. I have the Showdown version and he's cool, but way too ripped for Mags compared to MU's muscled heroes like WonderMan!

I could use thw Showdown Mags as an Ares body though....hmmm...

I saw that deal on the TRU website about spending $30 on avengers stuff and get a free 3.75 figure, does that apply to MU as well? Cause on the site it didn't list any of the MU stuff as being eligible with the deal but if you got a free white iron fist it must be eligible.

Four for $30 isn't a huge deal but it's better than anything else at retail at the moment.

I have tons of MU for trade.
BTW, my LCS has a peg full of Absorbing man variant, they are $13.99 plus tax which is lame but I might be able to trade some other figures to get some if anyone is interested.

The whole forearm actually. I guess they changed/enlarged them so he can hold his shield better. Slightly.

Also, the movie HA Cap matches the blue of this one perfectly. The swap sits high by only a smidge, but still a better head IMO.
