Spread wealth this way please! I wish I had a ticket to SDCC. The Masters of Evil Pack (if it's MU scale) and that damn Shockwave Hisstank: they be haunting my dreams!

A little early to start talking about 2013, but I'll be there next year... already in the works. I'm getting married/honeymoon and also going to Vegas for my bachelor party this year, so vaca time is limited this year.

I assume this is the same as when white/grey plastic starts yellowing?

In which case I've found that filling a glass jar with hydrogen peroxide, putting the piece in and then leaving it a few days in sunlight (UV) does the trick. (It's actually sunlight which causes the problem in the first place.)

I've this purely with 80's Transformers and it works really well, if anyone tries this make sure you remove all metal components. Also hydrogen peroxide is highly dangerous stuff so read all the safety information and wear gloves/goggles.

hey guys, what disolves hasbro paint good? I have a 616 Nick Fury I'm working on and I dont want to have to paint the steve rogers neck. rather just disolve the skin color instead of using paint which could get sticky and bad. rather a full blue neck

For Clear figures like Sue, you HAVE to keep it out of the sunlight...thats key...

Just got back from hunting, came home empty handed, saw some joes (at target they had the var. black CC, and Brown Trooper, but passed, I am out of joes...)

Gotta say, After opening them, I wish I had kept them all MOC. Most seem to have loose joints, some weapons don't fit right, one's without stands take some serious patience to get them to stand on their own, if possible. Other's can't even hold their weapons they came with.

THEN! For the cherry on top. I put a shelf up to display my newly freed companions. I got about 60 figures all set up how I wanted. Then this happened...

Apparently I missed the stud by less than a F$#%$ inch on one side!!

More carnage.

I shoulda chalk lined Hulk just layin there lmao

I felt like it was karma for going against my long standing tradition of never opening my figures!
thanks for making me glad I'm an MOC collector j/k glad you got it all fixed back up. looks good.

Oh, and I hope Hasbro stops puttimg out spidey for a while: too many damn variants.
I preorder- if I can get them at retail before the preorder shipps, I'll go that route and cancel the preorder...but often, like with the DD, Quicksilver, Warlock and Sinister comic packs, BBTS get me my figs months before anyone spots them at retail!

But with some waves, like the Doctor Stange wave, I scored at retail- variants too- way before BBTS had anything so I cancelled that preorder- no hard feeling or anything.
It's a good insurance policy and costs no more for me than LCS prices or wasting gas.

That shading crap comes off with a Q-Tip and 97% alcohol- took the Shadowland DD emblem off with no figure damage for a great black outfit buck gor Grim reaper (now I need a Bullseye head!).
Works on the shading on the Thor from the Avengers box set too.

So we actually KNOW the MoE set is MU and not ML scale?
If so, I'm kinda pissed- I have no money for such nonsense just now.
If it's MU scale, and an Arker nabs one for me, I'll trade a BAF Sentinel for it...that's all I got just now.

I still am. M-O-C til I D-I-E! I just figured F it with these. I'll keep em on display for a few years, then when my nephew is about 4-5 he can have them all. It's like a junkie on a relapse. I went well over 10years w/out opening anything & in one night I binged crazy hard. Thankfully I got my fix. I still have a decent size MOC collection in other lines that I'll never open. I'll admit tho, they do look awesome enjoying their freedom. It's also a nice space saver and I can now try to totally complete the MU line buying & trading for loose figs @ a discount compared to MOC.

I'm not sure how I missed this, but.. damn! Incredible display. Keep it up and we might need to have a "display-off" between you and Symbiote.
