About the GI Joe prices ... the vehicles are MUCH cheaper than PoC or RoC or basically anything after the end of 25th. You might not like them, but they aren't expensive.

About the Joe movie ... yes, that is a monumental screw-up for them to wait this late in the cycle. BUT none of us have seen the movie, none of us know the politics are any reason beyond what the studio has shared, and none of us know how this will play out with the toys that were due to come out and what will come out in the next 9 months.

About the articulation of the Joe figures - Remembering that this is a Marvel forum, I find it sadly ironic that someone would attack the Joe articulation after the sad articulation in the Avengers and Spidey figures. If you have actually seen or held the Joe movie figures, with the exception of the vehicle drivers, the missing articulation isn't really noticeable. On the other hand, many of the figures borrow from 30th figures and have AMAZING articulation. The vehicle drivers are laughable, but even with them they are great enough that some great casters are working on copying the armors and helmets so that customizers can create articulated drivers.

Lastly, about the look - can't please everyone. Maybe the later waves will be more your cup of tea as they will contain classic figures like the Crimson Guardsman and Night Viper. I will say that customizers are loving the Roadblock among many of the figures. Cobra Commander is an excellent nod to the recent IDW comic. I'm not a fan of Zartan or the Cobra Trooper, but both are easy fixes. Or just go to Dollar General and pick up those figures.

Like I said before, it seems odd that anyone who is buying Avengers or Spider-Man figures would attack the Joe lines. The Joes have more articulation, same price, and vehicles are cheaper.

I'm a big mu fan but the distribution does suck and I'm tired of the constant mold reuse one thing i can say about the movie lines that I like over mu are each character have a unique mold and boot,belts,buttons,etc are all molded unlike most of mu which are painted on despite the lack of articulation in the newer movie lines I prefer their mold uniqueness over mu mold rehashes so I share doomtron frustrations but for different reasons and yes he can be abrasive but love him or hate him that's doomtron and I like him here and 1andonly5711 his customs are awesome

indeed,the road of Victor Von Doom is a long and hard road out of hell,but in all honesty Doom is a good dude deep down,just misunderstood,otherwise sue,reed,johnny and ben would have been toast a long time ago,I really dont think he wants the world rid of them,without them he has no one to get back at,in all honesty I really think he feels rejected and that feeds his hate tward them.
