BTW, does anyone here think Hasbro will ever go ahead and make movie figures in MU form like Blade, Dare Devil the X-Men Trilogy, and some Spider-man villans? |

SDCC Spidey doesn't have the rockers, however, it does have a swivel and a hinge in the ankels. Rockers would have been nice since he already has a shin swivel, even though he is technically more articulated than the new Ultra Possable Spider-Man figure. The rockers on the new Spidey just send it over the top.
Are you referring to me. If so, I know... it sucks. I live in Pigf*ck PA and there aren't many comicbook stores around. I still manage to get information on whats new for the most part. What I like about the MU figs is that MU was a decent way to Reboot the Marvel figure line, so while there are many great new characters being released, I can still get some oldies but goodies. . |

The SDCC one I got from Hasbro Toy Shop around the time when SDCC 2010 was going on. I actually have 2 of them so I can keep one MOC. I am a sucker for gimmick packaging. The new Movie Spider-Man I bought at a Walmart, over 1 hour south from where I live, on my way home from Long Island NY. Funny thing is I go to NY expecting to find some cool stuff, and it is when I am back in PA I strike gold. Oddly enough, I haven't seen another Ultra Possable SM since, and what is really weird is that when I did find them they were in the hot wheels section, and were on a shelf in a blue cardboard display. I haven't seen any new movie figs where I live, just the Comic series. |

I have the SDCC Spidey (like my sig didn't give that away). Which figure started using the new foot rockers, or sandals as I like to call them? They are an awesome design.
Also, which Iron Man is the modular one? What series is it from? Sorry, like the gaps in my MU collection, there is one big giant gap in my comicbook knowledge, so I have a hard time keeping up with the upgrades that characters get, or even new characteres that appear. I usually use wiki to stay up to date. |

My friend I was just like u at one time. It's always cool to get absorbed into a new world and by god marvel is a heck of a world to get familiar with. The fastest way to catch up is thru marvel.wikia. Most up to date info plus their current and past affiliations and other universe versions of a character. And there are plenty of good places to fetch some figs for your collection. One, for example, is right here on the toyark. I completed my dark avengers and ultimate avengers teams my first week of opening my BST
I am not trying to sound like a snob, but if you read my earlier posts I also collect WWE Elite figures. When those are gone, their gone. That is if they showed up in the first place and where I live there are wave that I never saw. Every MU figure I wanted I always find at retail. Execpt for SDCC Spidey, obviously. If there are any figures I didn't get it was my fault for passing on them. |

I'll keep that in mind. I am in no rush to fill gaps in my MU collection because they do eventually re-release some guys. I remember searching all over the place or MU Archangel. All I ever found was the skull face/tiny wing variant at a super market. Then one day I stop at my local Target, and there he was. Granted this was about a year later, but still... No inflated prices, no shipping, just sitting in a store waiting for me to purchase him. There is even an upcoming wave that has the first MU Hulk in it. I doubt anyone will want it since the same wave has the new Hulk in it too, but atleast it is there for those who might actually want to old one.

Hi, I am a noob to this thread. I thought I would share my Appreciation for Venom. I also customized him a little... sorry if this is the wrong thread for that. I love this figure because he resembles McFarlane's artwork, and I was never fond of the Venom illustations that were sloppy looking and had Hulk like perportions.
Granted I had to perform surgery on his knees, paint it black, and sand down the spine to appreciate him more, but now that I did I have a near perfect Venom figure. He might have got the shaft in Spider-Man 3, but not in my house. Quote:

Professor x figure also has a new paint job on his coat. No pin stripes like the destro figure. I think we won't have another drought of mu after july. Last year, the mu figures were being released every month as the end of the year approached. Maybe playing catch up for delayed releases early in the year. Most marvel movies get released in the summer where the movie line figs excel. Thats apparent from the recent avengers figures. Then the late movie figure waves never make it to retail late in the year and mu picks up (examples are mandarin, ultimate iron man, comic whip lash, king loki, king laufey). I have a feeling the chitari and nick fury will be a bitch to find. On the bright side, mu waves will be released. This is just my opinion though. |
