trying to buy Quote: Hey, Hey, it wasn't for me I have a daughter not a son...lol . JK. Have to admit, I've had my daughter getting excited and pointing out figures I don't have yet. "Daddy, you don't have him. Don't you want him?" Course I guess I'm as bad with her Skylanders or Moshis that she collects.

I now have the Pitt and Monkeyman BAFs added to my trade list. On the toy front, I haven't seen anything, so I guess I'm patiently waiting until BBTS gets in wave 18.

Beginning work on a "No Paint Necesary" Custom Figure. Armor of the X-Men, Wolverine's newest Protege. working on the head right now. just trying to figure the best female face for her. Body is easy. Can take a kitty pryde for her sleeved look, or do some frankensteining with the arms of a Mary Jane(Which would involve me getting the Mary Jane). Last I need to figure out what would make a great armor body. if Ic an find some kind of large see through figure I can hollow it out.

The outer armor migjt be a pain in the ass.if you are determined to go with hollowing out other figutes. That being said, look into some Ben10 or Redakai figures as candidates. Often they are translucent and most have that undetailed, simplistic shape that her armor has. Although if you think it through I don't think you will be able to retain much articulation but a simple shell might look okay if it is formed in some type of action pose. My recommendation is to simply heat form some parts using the thin clear packaging bubbles figures come in. Time consuming but, probably much better results. I'll be in my shop Monday, I'll whip together her armor's arm so you can see what I'm talking about. |

Plastic vending machine capsules: http://i01.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/113...g_machines.jpg Just order a few different sizes (google them, they're easy to find), cut and glue into her bubble-armor and tint pink with Tamiya clear paint. What head to use though? Maybe a Pirates of the Carribbean woman (dont know the name) with MU Black Widow hair (both repainted, obviously). Swap the MU arms with a Renegades Sacrlett for the swivel arm and use X-23 lower legs for rocker ankles. use X-23's belt though- it looks far superior to Kitty's painted on version. So what if you need to paint a little? It's the effort that makes it all come together, bro! That and paint under your fingernails...that's essential. I'd prefer to avoid other female figures from Marvels line just to create a difference. I'll thinka bout what you said with kittys belt.
