I love using the clear acrylic paints from tamiya. They also have a good line of metallic colors too.

[QUOTE=Phantasm88;311760]That's exactly how I feel. It's weird how doing these customs suddenly feels like there's a clock attached. Kind of fun taking charge of the direction of the line though. HA!
Not my best work, that's for sure. ![]() ![]() This looks awesome I want it thanks for the pic

This looks fantastic! It's not often we get to see shots of each other's entire man-cave, and I'm always curious how people like to go about decorating theirs. That entertainment center you have is solid.. very clean and classy looking.
And thanks for the lighting compliment! Symbiote: very clean room. Love the style. Looks like my furniture. Very tasteful. |

Almost got a avengers BW today. Saw some skrulls and hawkeyes but no BW. She will be mine, o yes she will be mine.
On another note, nice customs Gerrillius. That warlock figure in the back is awesome. That Dani Moonstar custom is dead on. I've got a side project with the same Pirates in the Caribbean head. Sometime I'll get to finishing it. But good job. |

I'm dying for a brown leather jacket to make a civil war cap. Somebody posted a pic of their collection with cyclops wearing a leather jacket. Exactly the kind i'm talking about using.
My idea is to make the MU version of the minimate civil war cap. |

Hey y'all,
Need some help. . .found some figures at TJ Maxx, they are 3.75" Iron Man: Armored Avenger figures. They're much like the Iron Man 2 movie figures, but on the newer Avengers Assemble packaging. They had some of the very lowest-numbered figures in the series (like 01, 03) and some of what I imagine are the highest numbers (41-46). Anyone know where I can find a list of figures in this series? A brief glance at Google only took me to the 6" figures.

![]() Marvel Appreciation in all scales. Crazy weird haul from TRU. I'm not supposed to find anything retail. What gives? Odd assortment on the shelves. ML 2pk was full of dust. As if they brought out old stock or discovered stashed items. Flipped out at the ML Thor. He was too sick to leave behind. ML Black Widow is a killer score for me too. She'll fall in line with the WM Avengers. GI Joe Retaliation was restocked ... at $11.25 each!! WTF. Left behind two Red Ninjas because of the sticker shock. Ninja please! |

Few pages back, there was talk of some customizing tutorials
A friend of mine has already been bugging me to record some how-to videos already, so I decided to get going on that. I have a complete walkthrough of basic tools and supplies, and when I get home from work, I'll run through dismantling MU, Gi Joe, and other generic 4" figure types and basic structural modification. ![]() |

you know what sucks? not every Arker can sell 3.75" figs at the 4x20 price range! lmao. its almost impossible sometimes considering shipping and the fact that most figs start off at at least $8 retail. its almost like giving two figs away, when you think about it.
we dont all have Hasbro dumpster diving Oompa Loompas on payroll. ![]() |
