Just got back from the Amazing Spider-man. I do not have much appreciation for the film. The mask looked cooler than the last movies, but that's about it.

Maybe I'm the one who doesn't understand Spidey and the folks at Sony do. I would very much appreciate it if Marvel Studios could wrestle the license back from Sony and do a re-reboot.

Well that is disappointing to hear. I'm taking some family to see it Wednesday morning, so I hope it doesn't completely suck. This whole Sony affiliation with the Marvel license upsets me, to say the least.

Granted, a few of them are kinda cool, but I can't help thinkin' that's a wasted spot that could've gone to a comic-colored Iron Man suit he's had in past books or someone else entirely.

I don't have a set ruleset on what I buy. I buy what I like. If a comic one looks like dookey, I'll usually pass. If a concept looks awesome, I'll go for it.

Thanks for the inputs. I guess if the concept suits were mainly just for the sake of making "concept" suits like gimmik snowboard spiderman/and cap, I'm not for it. But if the concept suits were adaptations from the comics, then maybe i'd bite. But then again i'm just really well versed in all the IM suits. I'm only aware of the that just actually say "comic" on the packaging.

mmmm beast. still trying to steal one for cheap.

For those of you who have seen Amazing Spider-Man, that movie has its own discussion thread here (Spoiler Warning). Please use it instead of this thread.

Right? I want a 3.75" in-scale General Lee. That car spent more time in the air than most planes.

Well thanks, man. If you get around to making one, please share.
Maybe I'll slap some ReproLabels on one of my Joe jets and just call it a day.

Check out Gen Lee. A little pricey, but there is one..

Does anyone have a regular Skystriker for me at the wicked cheap price they were a month ago? They went to $11 or $12 here and were scooped up before I could get to one. Insert sad face.

And now... Adorable Appreciation!!!

No, not really. Still consider them neat in the IM2 line, they were pretty terrible in the Cap line. Have we had concepts in Avengers yet? I don't remember...

Both my brother and my sister went to midnight showings in two separate states. My sister's theater did a raffle and she didn't win. My brother's theater did trivia, and after answering what Carnage's real name was, he won! I've got a MS Spidey headed my way from St. Louis:

Neither 'exclusive', nor given out on a 'first-come, first-serve' basis, but still pretty awesome! My sister wouldn't have attended if not for the figure, so I paid for her ticket. Essentially I got a MS Spider-Man for $14.
