I just got word from iceman that hasbro stopped giving out the timeslot tickets for the hasbro line today at 7 in the morning. Everyone is suspecting that the exhibitors and othervendors nabbed all of the tickets for today. It sucks. The only other way would be to but it from one of the other vendors at the con but I'm not sure how much they are charging. I'm going back tomorrow early. I'm planning on getting there at 5 am. Its such bullshit how the hasbro line is managed.

Helicarrier pics. I'll admit,it was funny watching ppl walk around with this big sucker. The only place it could got in my car was in the back seat, door to door.

Out of the shipping box

SDCC haul preview night

Back of the box art

Took me awhile to get this out of the package. There are also pegs in some areas for the figures to stands on.

I was hoping the Heli Carrier would be more GI Joe FLAGG-ish... But it just looks like a glorified platform w not much substance.

that's actually not bad looking. about half the size of my desk it seems so would make a fun display piece. when the news of the helicarrier in general first broke, i was hoping the top would open up into various play features. like a mini command center in the middle with screens, the tops would fold up to have levels or something, a bunch of storage compartments, and some kinda light and sound function.

kinda wanna see what 130 bucks of materials would land me. prolly could make a decent sized helicarrier coffee table that opened up into a toy chest/playset and the engines could double as cup holders

Got my Chitauri from China today. Color me disappointed. No knees, no elbows. Utterlu useless ankle articulation. Fortunately the sculpt of the arm should be easy enough to cut/paste in a new ball joint.

I think Hasbro spends more money on brainstorming on ways to save money then what it would cost to actually make awesome shit. The figs are great don't get me wrong. But the Helicarrier is crap. The SDCC one looks much better with cooler paint apps and being a good bit larger. But No inside, bottom sculpt...? I mean when I look at the newest Millenium Falcon and compare it to the Helicarrier, there's no contest.
