Went ahead and pre-ordered just the Juggernaut for now, mostly because his ebay price always gives me headaches and I doubt I'll get lucky enough to find his one a case self in stores. If I do by some miracle before my pre-order ships, I can just cancel it correct?

Oh and for the people who get Ghost Rider, let me know. I'll be after him. I doubt I'll have a problem getting him, Punisher and maybe not even Kang but I am after them. I like they are releasing a few of the older figures with these cases. I was hopeful they would with Juggernaut so I am pleased they did. And Ghost Rider as well since I just barely missed him in stores. Old Hulk is still pointless though, waste of a case spot. And Thor as well. I mean I get why they did it (He'll be out with the Avengers hitting Blu Ray/DVD) but I still do not need to like it. And that Falcon seems likely to be out when his comic-pack hits the shelves as well.

As for the new stuff, well heck, I'm going after all of Series 2 new figures. Series 1 is a lot of pass for me. I think only Beast and BR Bill are the must gets from that wave. I'm just not sold on Kraven at the moment, maybe once I see him in stores I'll change my mind but right now no.

And Happy 1 year to bmorr and Lord Marvel. May I survive that long to make it and remember the day lol

$60 in shipping from China for a package that big and heavy is a super deal though- seriously! $2 shipping per fig is probably close to what it costs the seller.
I do shipping for a living and can tell you that no shipper sends anything to China that cheap.

Of course, for custom fodder, you can score cheaper figs (than $8 shipped) off ebay or amazon from closer sellers.

After looking all over, I can report that South Florida has jack shit yet.
Makes me almost want to order the three figs I need from Toywhiz, but they scalped me when I first started collecting again and I vowed not to buy from them again- they advertized un their MU section a loose Firestar for $10 (plus $5 shipping) and I needed her for a Spitfire custom so I splurged.
They sent me the crappy old Toybiz mail away Firestar!

When I mentioned it to friends online, people told me they had ordered Thanos, paid for it and were then told he was out of stock so they got refunded only to see him re-listed for like $40...

Supposedly they've gotten better but damn, that stuff sticks for me.

LM: Congrats and the 4/20 thing actually led me to get my head out of my a$$ and post on this thread.

BMORR: Can't emphasize how much EVERYONE on this thread has mattered. If you've been posting, you get respect from everyone!

Optimus Vader: Took me a long time to forgive Philly for Buddy Ryan. While I can't say I LIKE y'all, I can say I have respect. Just not for Jerry Jones, he's Satan's Playmate.

Alchemist599: Heading out now on my lunch break, if I see anything I'll let you know (unless there's only one and then you're outa luck)

If I ever get a home computer again I wanna start taking pics. UsAgent27 has/is doing custom work for me that I'm geeking over in a major way. I sent him some minor player requests and he's steppin up!

Have we gotten any pics of the Cyclops/Emma/Jug-o-lossus pack or is that only a rumor? Have we even gotten confirmation that these are Phoenix versions?

First i've heard about this, hope it's true as I would love any form of MU Emma.

He ships in bubble wrapped envelopes or small boxes and he used to combine shipping but stopped when he started raising prices on figures.

It costs him under $15 to ship that amount of figures (although he normally does it across 2 boxes as if it's below a certain weight and size he gets a government discount on shipping) I have ordered multiples off him and gotten refunds on the shipping after the event

The paint on that Jan is INCREDIBLE. How'd you get the lines so crisp? She looks like she came from the MU factory!

I love the hair as-is, but I'd be excited to see what you come up with instead!

Good luck! I've got two MU-carrying Walmarts that are completely sold out for over a week now. Seems like they're getting ready to get new stuff, but haven't yet.

Then again, one of those two went with an empty MU peg for 6 straight months before finally restocking... and that was while other WM's were actively restocking!

I preordered that too, and can't figure out why. I'll have all those (probably) by the time that case comes out, why will I need doubles?

I think it's because I'm so anxious to get new figures I just preorder all the ones I want in my hands now...

Sadly no, but Onyx (that people have been referencing over here) makes a custom helmet that fits over the stock head. It's AWESOME.

Seriously though, people complain about sellers, but it's the buyers who are the biggest crooks on eBay.
THIS!!! I had a buyer who wasn't happy that there was a crease in the card of a figure I sent him. Prior to messaging me, he opened a buyer protection case against me stated that it wasn't in the description and that he wanted to return it.

Having no choice but to go through the case, I agreed that it wasn't written, and although it was clearly posted in the multiple pictures of the figure and card, and the listing stated that returns were not accepted, I'd refund the cost of the figure and initial shipping if he sent it back to me. That way, we'd both be out shipping costs. Me due to not writing about the crinkle, him for not checking the pictures carefully before buying.

After sending the figure and getting what he asked for, he left my first negative feedback ever in almost 600 transactions! I asked him why, and he said that it was a negative interaction. I asked what I could do to make him change his mind and he said he expected to be paid back for the shipping he sent me as well. I reluctantly returned that to him, and he didn't change his feedback. I called and talked with eBay about it multiple times and they said there's nothing they can do. Regardless of how the situation is handled by the Seller, even with a case against the transaction, the buyer can ALWAYS leave negative feedback, while the seller can't.

There's no justice on eBay, that place sucks.

I also need those Rhino and Doom packs pretty bad, my TRUs don't seem to be getting them.

I'd love and hate for that to happen at the same time. If they did this, it would be a sign that every valuable character would eventually be produced again, and we wouldn't have to cop to scalper prices, but I'd also feel like crap for paying so much for my Vision and Blades...

Me to! Me to! I need King Loki and Laufey. They're the last two legit figures I need to be 100% on non-Spidey MU lines.

It's my way of giving the middle finger to scalpers. We're good at it though, so much that we've been labeled scalpers ourselves. been called that a few times, I don't even know why people are so quick to judge when I've gathered hard to find items for my friend and her son.
That's a really nice use of networking. I could see a 'secret' Facebook group being perfect for that. You can ping your location, get notifications, take pictures, and leave comments in the same spot.

I've joined some of the FB MU groups, but there's not a ton of interesting activity on those. The postings are a mish-mash of sightings, hauls, and questions, nothing like what you've described.

It would be nice to have an actual team to work with on things. If we could only ship things for free, that'd be even more optimal.

in regards to the hunt, the worst part for me is the time elapsed from the moment i park to the moment i enter the toy aisle. haha. that's the most nerve-wracking walk ever.
Swatches signed by Parker Lewis, none the less.

I'm afraid of the scalper label, but I've seen it applied liberally to people I don't consider scalpers, so I expect it to happen eventually. I'd just hope it happened publically rather than privately.

I think the worst part of the Hunt for me is walking to the spot in the toy section where I know the peg has been bare for more than a week or more and finding it empty still. Pegwarmers I can deal with, it's the lack of restocking that drives me nuts.

Congrats fellas! I'm holding King Louie's at bay until the time comes. I didn't join until October 3rd! I thought for sure LM came up after me. Nope, he's my senior.

One picture from the panel at SDCC, but you couldn't even see any differences on Juggernaut really. No images of Cyclops, and none of them looked like Phoenix versions.

EDIT: And I just updated my BST fellas. Let me know if there's anything you want.

Eh- then he's maing money off shipping while making his selling item crazy cheap- an annoying but common ebay practice these days.

Wave 18 was my first ToyWiz purchase/pre-order. $61 shipped for the set of 5 and it'll be here tomorrow. No complaints about that!

Of course their Wave 19 prices are bad so i'll be looking elsewhere haha.

Supposedly they've gotten better but damn, that stuff sticks for me.
he dosnt even uses bubble wrap he crams them all to gether in a envalope thats as then as papper
