@jason abbadon: I thought about using she-hulk for a gamora figure but she is too big in scale. Maybe kit bash some parts of her like the arms and such with another figure. Your thoughts?

I think they're going to send you one of those feared Falcon or Thor figures,.. or a Gladiator. I would try to buy a new one from a real online store (one that accepts returns) and then return the defective one for cash or store credit. I would say wait to find her at retail and then return there, but I understand the patience thing. I have no time for patience.

i'll likely include a note asking the super awesome whoever it may concern to please exchange this specific figure for a figure exactly like it. i figure she's in the revision case so my chances are about 50/50.

yeah, not thrilled about that potential caveat. so far i've missed out on all the cheap online store ones like impulse, toynk, and dorksidetoys figuring i already had 1 in the case, ebay is roughly 30 shipped atm, and retail is hit or mostly miss for me. i usually don't see new and HTF figures for 6 months to a year from release which is the exact reason i pre-ordered in the first place. so we'll see, gonna return the SW and continue hunting for a decently priced one in its wake. :]

You know, I was talking about this with a new collector friend, and I really don't think we should fault each other for overpriced eBay listings. Hooking each other up is very cool, but the eBay community isn't this community, so we shouldn't crap on each other for listing stuff over there.

I believe it was brilliantly stated, "I put things on eBay to make a profit, I offer things on ToyArk to hook up my friends."

There is a grey area about things being listed over there and not here, but we all know each other, and we're all trying to help each other out. There's no reason to give anyone around here crap for using evilBay the way it's already used.

I love Wave 19. I personally think with the range of characters, colors, and new sculpts, it's far and away the best wave they've ever produced. No production issues would ever take that away from it.

You're right to be afraid, I think. You really should write back and express that their version of 'value' may not equate yours, and if the figure cannot be replaced with the same one, you should get the original figure back along with a coupon for money off future Hasbro products.

That would seem fair to me.

Now I keep missing her at retail and like you said; eBay is too much right now. Although, eBay is flooded with her, so I do think she'll come back down to "reasonable" eBay prices soon.

it was with the rest of the sealed case so i'm likely more interested in hasbro exchanging it since it's more a problem they should handle rather than BBTS. a refund, if possible, would end up being the 9-10 bucks and i'd still be out a SW. either way debating just dropping 30 for one off ebay in the meantime.

my reply to them was asking what were the chances i'd receive the same figure. when i do mail her out, i'm gonna include a note pleading with the person who's in charge or whoever doing the exchanging to try replacing her with another her. hopefully won't hurt the chances. and hopefully no overturning of cars.
