I want to pose an interesting custom request for those want to try it for themselves. You see, when i got the stealth iron man in the mail, something clicked. His dark costume reminded me of x force(same costume darker colors). So, with that in mind, Id really like to see the AVENGERS done up in a matching X-force style getups. Ive yet to see anything like this on here, so id be more than giddy to see the results.

I think that was done intentionally. Painting it on would have looked terrible, as it's not part of the costume, it was a piece of paper taped to it. A paint version would look like it was drawn onto it. Adding it to the figure as a separate plastic piece would have increased costs even more for what is supposed to be a very simple and cheap variant.

Really, the best option overall was to leave it empty for collectors to add themselves. Kind of like the Nick Fury cigar issue, where they designed the mouth so collectors could add it themselves, without running afoul of Hasbro's strict anti-smoking policies.

I suffered the same fate and I ordered early. Toynk on eBay is a HUGE entity, so I'm not sure how to react to this. On one hand I'm thinking they caught wind of how affordable they were selling their Bag Head and balked... thinking they could maximize profits by selling for more later on.

On the other hand, maybe they did have this "pallet accident" and deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Either way, no Bag Head soup for us.

On a side note, I got my FF Spidey from eBay today. I think I'm going to have to open this guy up before I leave for Tijuana. He just looks so badass. One thing I don't like is the wash they put on the lower half of his face. It just looks like Frank Castle is under the mask and his facial hairs are poking through the mask. After further inspection, it seems as if they painted this shadow effect all over the place. hmmm
