As a Rude Boy, I ran with a lot of SHARP Skins (Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice.) 60's Jamaican Ska and subsequent Roots Reggae inspired the blue collar/working class Skinheads in the UK and abroad. So in other words, its the other way around. Ska inspired Skins. In the 80's, ska exploded in the UK and the 2-Tone scene was born. The whole concept of the 2-Tone ska movement was equality. Black and White together. Hence white laces on black Docs. Checkers, etc. Sadly, Neo Nazi boneheads (as called by true Skinheads) copied the uniformed look of the Skins and made a horrible name for themselves. Many Neo Nazi Boneheads use red laces on black Doc's as a sign of blood shed for the Anglos in defense of their bullshit ideology. Let the truth be known. The ORIGINAL SKINHEADS were not racists. take it further back, bro. Toasters were fun, but there's nothing like the old school SKA! |

Anyways, I'm new here and browse the site from time to time (whenever time permits). But finally made an account..lol. Screen name is toys4me since I buy these for me and my soon to be born son! Been collecting these little guys on and off whenever time allows hence my collection being small. Will post my appreciation soon! But for now just wanted to say hello! Very cool 3.75 appreciation thread! |

Symbiote could be an action figure display consultant. He just told me I should get 3.75" handcuffs and I immediately smacked the top of my desk and shouted... because I have a set that came with a SW Luke figure. I should've consulted with Symbiote MacGyver-Gruber before setting that dio up!

My older brother was/is a long hair, so I grew up with hair bands, metal bands, and classic rock. Dudes I hung out with in HS were into hardcore, death metal, thrash, and a little thing called grunge. lol.
The Clash and Bob Marley are my all time favorites, so anything closely related is music to my ears. ![]() So yeah... toys. |

If anyone here's interested, I have an extra Avengers Nick Fury lying around. PM if interested. I might also be able to get a Black Widow and/or Chitauri.
