My only beef with it is that you can't read trades, so to read crossover events, you have to have a reading order list handy. I would like them to have that sort of thing built-in, but they don't. Otherwise I really like it.

It doesn't take long for people to put these up on eBay.

Ugh, I want the figure, I like the figure but I'm not paying ebay prices for it. And I wish people would PLEASE stop saying that. It's not like people are just sitting around going "Wonder what I could waste sixty bucks on today? Oh, a Marvel digital comics subscription. And oh, hey, I get a free figure with it." It's just not the case. People are signing up FOR the figure, that's why they offer it exclusively that way. If I signed up I'd have no illusions about where my money went: Toward the toy. I have a metric fuck-ton of comics, with more added all the time. I LOVE comics. I am NOT giving Marvel sixty bones to "borrow" a bunch of books I have already read and or own. And I need a computer and internet connection to not hold them in my hands. And what's the business model here? I have to what, start out in '09, sign up for the Nick Fury fig and cancel after and then sign back up next year so that I can get the subsequent figs? WTF? There's my rant for the day. I love you, Do Boy! |

I like to look at it as a free figure mainly cause I don't want to admit I dropped $60 on a repainted single cared figure lol |

Couldn't agree with you more Dylan. I signed up for the subs specifically to get Fury and then Archangel. I never read an entire comic online. Never. I tried, but I don't like reading comics that way. MAYBE on an Ipad or tablet, but I haven't tried that yet. I even gave my username and password info to my friend so at least he could take advantage of my money. Not sure I can bring myself to do it this time though.
