BUT... what would be umpty-bajillions of stupid-cool would be if they worked the three Marvel-owned Micronauts into the line: Cmdr Rann, Marionette, and Bug. They've had them in various comics here and there since losing the Micronauts license, and they could just call them the Microns like they've done in those comics.

I was just about to add them ya' bastitch! I'd love to see some 3 3/4 versions of the 'Nauts (comic style) especially is they were from the second comic series. Add a mutated Huntarr and a fully armored Acroyear to Bug, Mari and Commander Rann and it's full of WIN!!!

Oh, yeah; Huntarr would be piles of win, but I'd prefer his 'gloopy' v1 appearance (at least first, as I wouldn't say no to him in either form). But Acroyear's pretty much a no-go as his name and overall appearance are still Takara trademarks. Cilicia might could be Marvel, tho.

Rom would be piles of win, but also lost in rights-licensing-hell as well. Dire Wraiths could be done, tho; as I believe they were always Marvel-created and owned. Pic taken from this awesome page, with what are probably the very first Joe cosplayers, lol.

You don't have to worry about Rom. Mines almost done, and when it is I will be making molds and casting it.

Despite being broke as day-old dried-up dogshiat, please put me first on the list. You don't have to paint it or completely assemble it (you can send it to me in a pile after you make sure everything fits) as I'll no doubt want to bash it onto a MicroMan body, m'man.

Paint will not be necessary, as it will be cast in metallic silver.

As for Dire Wraiths, there is always hope that the sculpt that was done for the now defunct Toybiz ML line could be worked into this new Marvel line. It was a really great John Romita Jr. looking piece taken right from the middle of Storm with a mohawk days.

Now, back to the topic at hand.

Oh, man, I love that you used a fig head under the helmet! Totally gives him some humanity and brings out the whole 'trapped in the armor' riff they had in the comics. WORD.

That's not all there is, tho; is it? There's the jetpack and the feets and at least the Neutralizer, too; RIGHT?

Actually, there's an entire figure. The other parts are not in a complete state yet, but everything will be there. I considered making the head trans red so you could paint it silver and get a light piping effect.

BTW, just wanted to say that this is a great topic, and the responses have been both thoughtful and fun. Nice job guys!

Apocalypse is one of my favorite villains, and the Apocalypse Rising figure from ToyBiz's X-Men: Onslaught line is one of my all-time favorite action figures. I love Poccy's fresh-from-the-sarcophagus look with the red mummy wrappings....

Venom

Someone who probably has a better chance of actually getting a figure made (and should), would definitely be one of my all time favorite Marvel villains - Venom. The figure should represent the old school look, in other words very muscular, and I definitely think he should have an opening/closing jaw.

Ghost Rider

Another more popular and better well known Marvel character I'd like to see get shrunk to 3 3/4" inch size would definitely be the Ghost Rider. I can definitely see this one opening up the possibility for a line of MU vehicles because this guy definitely is going to need his rider. All though one thing I will say is I'd rather have the Danny Ketch version rather then Johnny Blaze. I always thought Ketch's bike was cooler.

Back to the ranks of the lesser knowns, this Spider-Man villain from the 90's comes with a host of cool abilities and accessories. In addition to his power staff he also has in his arsenal a robotic falcon. Since his power comes from artificial Beta energy battery which replaces his heart, making some of the figures parts out of transparent blue plastic would probably work well, to simulate a blue glow.

Shatterstar

While technically not an X-Man, Shatterstar was one of the original founders of X-Force and probably one of its most ruthless and efficient members. This one is going to need a few blades.

Though I wouldn't mind another Venom figure, I really wish they would leave out the "extended tongue" look. Whenever he's drawn that way or a figure made with the super tongue, he looks like a sketch of Gene Simmons done by H.R. Giger. Just give him a jaw that can actually close completely, even if it means having a removable tongue accessory.

EDIT: Shatterstar would kiss much ass!

When they get around to doing NightCrawler (and they very damned better), he needs to be sculpted following this guy's drawing tips. He'll need to be able to sit on his haunches and have a bendie-wire tail. Toe joints would be keen; but not mandatory like ankle joints will be.

Speedball

Come on, after Civil War we've got to get a classic Speedball figure. I'd like to get all of the New Warriors, but since he survived and is still a player w/ the Thunderbolts (come on, drop the lame Penance "act") I figured he would get the priority treatment.

She's Namor's cousin! Do we need another reason? Who cares if she is "dead".

I'm torn, Namorita or her more Atlantean blue skinned version? Yeah, I like this version the best.

I don't think I'm gonna be collecting the whole line, but if they have the five original X-Men in a set, I would jump all over that.

But there are going to be a whole bunch of Wolverine's released before that day comes.

And there's no way in hell it would happen, but a few Weapon X (the vol. 2 title) characters would be cool, too.

I pretty much want a whole line dedicated just to Thor and the Asgardian side of the MU. I want a Simonson-style Balder with removeable helmet, Beta Ray MFing Bill, Odin, Sif, Heimdall, definately Loki with either both his bighorns helmet and his 'Fs on the sides' helmet, or swappable heads with them, the Warriors Three, the Enchantress, the Executioner, Thor's warchariot with ToothGnasher and ToothGrinder; and a great big-assed Surtur BAF. Even cooler would be a Jormungander BAF that was just three diff pieces: a head, a tail tip, and then a middle body section. He'd be as long as however many of the middle pieces you want to buy and connect would make him. Easiest BAF evar!

Firelord
Herald of Galactus

Since Silver Surfer seems to be the herald that gets all the attention these days, I thought I'd highlight some of the other servants of Galactus, begining with Firelord here.

One of the four "elemental" heralds, Pyreus Kril has had several run-ins and team ups with Earth's heroes over the years and is known to be somewhat of a "hot-head", due to his apparent arrogance. He represents the fire element (duh).

More on Firelord.

Give him his flame deco and his staff and he'd be good to go.

Air Walker
Herald of Galactus

One of the four elemental heralds, Gabriel Lan was mistaken for the angel Gabriel when he first appeared on Earth. He was also a friend and former commander of Firelord's alter-ego, Pyreus Kril. In fact, it was because of Lan that Pyreus became a herald. Contrary to his flaming winged appearance, Lan represents the air or wind element.

More on Air Walker.

Terrax the Tamer
Herald of Galactus

One of the four "elemental" heralds (and one of the more ruthless), Terrax represents the earth element.

More on Terrax.

Although he's had some figures made before, and a new Sideshow statue, I think he'd also be great as a Marvel Legend in a Herald-inspired wave.
