Also being made during the cold war era it just always made sense Rhino was Russian. To my knowledge he had been revealed as a Russian immigrant a long time before he was given an official name.

I left the Marvel Universe line a year or 2 ago. Have a pretty wealthy collection, including CIB and a ton of exclusives. It's a really cool line and I love having some figures in scale with my Joes. They make for some really cool displays.I quit collecting them to get back into the ML figures and I gotta say... Hasbro, what the heck? Your smaller figures have a heck of a lot better paint apps than your 6" line. Seriously? Kinda depressing when there's a $9 price difference. None the less, this figure looks sick. If I see him in stores, I'll snag him.

Right now, Daredevil looks like the winner of the wave. Especially when looking at this pic:

No wrist articulation or ab-crunch on Black Cat? Man, Hasbro will be making everything 5 POA soon, I bet. Ugh.

Of course he's the winner, he's just a re-release of a previous MU Daredevil that uses an amazing buck.

Agreed. And then Hasbro will begin making Marvel Black Series at $20 a pop for the 'serious enthusiasts', followed by a 5 POA line called Marvel Adventures, with some gimmicky app code P2P game at $14.99 a piece. Oh, wait..

No wrists, no ab crunch, and the scarf actually being sculpted into his harness looks awful. Shame, the head sculpt is nice but otherwise it's just another figure from Hasbro wrought with lame cost-cutting measures. Clearly they're caring less and less about the four-inch scale.

Just got Bishop, Beast and Hawkeye after getting the excellent Daredevil. I kind of assumed the same quality, but Beast and Bishop in particular are disappointing. The plastic on Bishop feels cheap, like he's from a completely different line. Beast's only saving grace is that the sculpt is good. Hawkeye appears to be Dark Hawkeye (a.k.a. Bullseye) from a few years ago and neither the paint job or the maniacal grin have been retooled to suit Clint Barton as Hawkeye. The worst offence is the removal of wrist joints in these figures though, especially when they've added ankle rockers.

Wow....That Hawkeye would be a great figure, if it wasn't for The Tick grin and derp face.

^and the fact that we've gotten him like three times in the last two years... they could have at least single packed a Clint version for once instead of Dark Hawkeye! or hell give it a paint wash, or darker colors, just a little something to make me feel like you give a shit Hasbro! and aren't just re-packing the same shit to the point of nausea. and if you are going to be a bunch of lazy cost cutting ass bags at least get a damn clue and re-pack something that didn't peg warm like a son of bitch. Hell, this might be the first MI figure to land on a peg next to it's MU counterpart at retail. and as far as Daredevil goes I recall seeing the discount stores overflowing with the DD/Bullseye two packs for 9$ like four months ago! who the hell is going to pay 12$ for him alone now? just a little tip Hasbro it's called "situational awareness".
