Technically (SEMANTICS!) The true "ball-joint" is the ball and socket type. The other neck joint would be better described as a disc/peg, hinge/peg or insert molded joint.

I think you should wait. Just MHO. Scale is way too big for me. Some people like their Hulk's oversized but Ms is just too far out of scale for me. The main Hulk's I would shoot for aside from waiting would be Face-off or 2 pack Hulk. If you don't wanna spend that much the Target exclusive Hulk can be had pretty cheaply. he's far from perfect but his articulation is solid and he has rocker ankles. It's the same body from Series 1 Hulk but a better looking head. I won mine for $15 shipped. I think it was actually a BIN on ebay. just food for thought. Still no sign of any new ML, but I'm still keeping an eye open for my fellow Arkers. Of course, the Future Foundation Spidey is about the only one I'm even vaguely interested in right now. I dropped out of the 6" scale when MU debuted. Correct. One of these days, I'll get around to finishing the section on joints in my Reference Guide thread. It will explain all the different types of joints and the terminology associated with them, but all from a toy collector perspective.

Grabbed the MS Hulk for myself. I don't think he's too big for the regular figures. I think his size is definitely subjective in the comics and that he works fine in this scale. The problem for me is his scale with other large characters. Specifically how he dwarfs my Juggernaut :P Now I want the MS Juggernaut lol That said, I got him because he's cheap and obtainable. I like FO Hulk the best, but not for the aftermarket cost. Walmart Movie Hulk will be sweet if I can get him but he will go with my movie toys. And based on the Hot toys teaser for scale, I'm sure he will be too small. But I'm a transformers fan, so scale can only bother me so much! lol

And correct me if I'm wrong but the MS Jug is about the same size as the Legends one. |

				 | Quote: Colossus doesn't bother me because he doesn't grow, he is just a big effin Russian who turns metal. The hulk grows. It really depends whose drawing him, but he's been pretty effin huge before. I'm also not the pickiest when it comes to scale though. Just go with what you like! MS Hulk is about 9.5 inches tall, so if you adopt him to 6" scale hes 9 1/2 feet. I've seen him listed as 8 ft (but I can't find an official source) so he's about a foot and half too tall. I still think he "fits" though, at least for me.

This should be his scale IMO. Which is typically how he is depicted. I tried to find a wide array of artists and vs other large characters. |

I'd say that second image matches the feel of the MS toy's size. But yeah, he is too big, but he works for me. If I get the bigger Juggernaut I wouldn't even notice.

If you look at the second image closely Thor is down on one knee.

				 | Quote: Best I can do with the limited poseability and a shaky hand :P Again, your totally right, scale is wrong for the most part. I think it looks good though on my shelf and its the cheaper option at the moment. For the figure itself, the MS articulation is shit though lol. Paint is super nice though, and I'm not 100% in love with the design but the sculpt is great. I think its a good affordable alternative for a ML hulk with fists as long as you're more easy going about scale.
