There is a guy with a Taskmaster listed on eBay for cheap, and he lives pretty close by. I should see if he'll jut let me pick it up.

*sigh* You know, I'm really diggin' these bigger figures. I think I might drop the MU versions of these as they come out, and swtich to the Legends. After having a few of the Walmart exclusive 6" Thor/Cap line, I really do like scale better.

Should is the key word here.

I don't trust my local Wal-Mart or Target for figures at all... they barely stock Marvel Universe (and when they do, they are waves behind), same with DC Universe. Both stores in this area seem to be averse to stocking any 6" figures, much less comic ones. Maybe they will change with ML but I don't want to risk the chance.

You definitely gotta weigh the pros and the cons of your local area when looking at the TRU price -- I have to order all my MU figs online because of bad distribution and scalpers, I expect the same here as these stores track records with comic figures is horrible for me.

I only have one TRU in the area as well and a ton of people who hit it up every day at opening... without reliable transportation, by the time I could check TRU in-store who knows if anything is left. Not to mention my TRU is also garbage -- the entire store looks like its closing, many of the pegs are just empty. There is only one MU and not one Transformers figure in the entire store!

$18 is expensive, but its either $18 per figure and be guaranteed a set, or deal with the disaster that is Wal-Mart / Target distribution or scalpers at TRU.

Free shipping helped sweeten the deal, for me. I gladly bit on all 7 figures because now I don't have to deal with the headache of hunting them down. I hate the TRU markup but right now, its the difference between getting them and not getting them, and it was only $6 more expensive than BBTS and I can have them in-hand by Friday.

I also wanted to add these are on TRU.com as Marvel Universe 6" and not Marvel Legends... initially I couldn't even find them on TRU's website as Marvel Legends was bringing up nothing.

Kokomo Toys has the figures up on eBay right now including the variants. That means they got them in already and are getting the variants too! Hope on of my cases is a variant

By the way, I saw the Marvel Select Juggernaut today at a LCS and that thing is fucking impressive. I'd recommend it to anyone building up a Marve Legends collection because it is freaking massive and truly does Juggernaut some justice.

Agreed, I seen him at a LCS and wow, he is a beast, he's around same size as Abomination or hulk and a lot of plastic for your $$. I would suggest trying to aquire him local as shipping costs on most MS figures is high due to the large package design and overall weight of the figure combined.

So I got some of the new Legends, and was speaking with the TRU CSR he said that for this first 2012 wave, there's supposed to be a total off 11. There's 2 GR, CA, IM, and for the first part Constrictor is in the case, and than later on there's a totally different figure that gets swapped with him. He said that a Hasbro rep came in and had a meeting with them. Not sure if that's true or not...but there you have it. The CA variant is basically his shield being different...

Just got these today. Klaw and Iron are up grabs if anyone wants them PM me.

I would go ahead and pick up Juggernaut just for the sake of quality vs. price. He is fucking impressive, and I'd like to own one, though since I don't have the space or scale appropriate collection to display it I might end up just letting someone else score it instead.

There are 7 figures plus the 3 variants you mentioned (not including the BAF). Both are shipping

Now that I am finally able to log in again after a few days I can say how much I am looking forward to shipping my PoL and getting my Marvel Legends wave 1 case in. Should be fun to have this line back again.
