Damn, there's some good stuff popping up on eBay right now. Professor X MOC, loose Iron Monger... and this one looks so bad ass...

Marvel Legends Dc universe custom Young Avengers Hawkeye | eBay

1andonly5711, I swear you deserve more than what you're asking for some of your figures.

Oh lol. Darn! heh...

In regards to MS vs BAF, I personally like the MS one because of all the detail.

Is $220 for the entire Target Exclusive Rulk BAF wave too expensive? That includes RULK. all the figs are MOC.

Probably not, but I wouldn't know, sorry. I would think if you really wanted to wait, you could get them at 20-25 a piece. But that might take time, and I'm certainly no expert.

You know what... I think I'll pass. For that kind of money, I'd want to have them out on display and not MOC. I don't want all the figs but just some of them. I'd be better off buying them individually so I don't have to spend so much. The main reason the price is so high is because it has a complete Red Hulk in it. As I said above, I prefer the MS Rulk

WHAT?!?!? Each one would sell for that much?

Edit: Looking on ebay right now, and each figure is averaging about 30 - 40 each.

So it would be an ADDITIONAL Rulk? Really? If thats the case I would and you could have someone buy the extra.

No extra Red Hulk. It's just all the BAF pieces to make 1 of him.

I think I understand what you mean now, Wolverine. The whole set MOC would run about $300...

For some reason I pass on variants. I just like collecting the original versions better.

Man, that's a large chunk to fork over for 6 figures. I have Bill Me Later and then I'd get no interest for 6 months... but still... I don't know if I could do it. If I bought it, I'd end up trying to flip it and make a profit. After looking through more auctions, MOC figs sell for 30-50 each. I'd end up paying about $35 each but I have no idea if they are MOC. If they aren't, then I'd have to part them out as loose. Rulk loose sells for $100. I would then have to sell each figure for $20 loose just to break even, and that's if I get $20 + shipping. Argh, too much to think about!

Re-read it and it says that the figures are MIB not MOC. That, to me, means that the cards are not mint... shit. I don't know what to do. I have 40 minutes to make up my mind ha ha.

if you're not sure, don't do it. The MS version people say is better and it's cheaper for sure. Yes you can sell the loose figures and at least break even or come out ahead. I know that personally. But it's probably not what you want to do.
And for me personally MOC is the same as MIB though some people will list MIMB or MOMC. I list mine as MOC

Thanks Wolverine. You've helped me decide. You're right - If I have doubts, then I shouldn't do it because I'll probably kick myself later for pulling the trigger on it. If I were to buy that Target set at that price, I wouldn't be able to justify it to myself and end up trying to part them out to break even or make a profit. That was never my intention with that set. I mainly wanted Wolverine, Silver Savage and Spidey... that's it. Rulk wasn't even part of the equation for me, but I figured his value would help to recover some of the money I spent when I parted out the rest of the figures. Anyways, I can just buy the ones I want and maybe spend less.

Also, I agree that there are so many different acronyms that people use for mint. I had a bad experience on eBay when someone wrote MIB once because I assumed it also meant the package was mint. When I got it, it looked as if a dog was chewing on the package. The guy argued that the figure was in mint condition, just like the listing stated. He was right that he never said it was a mint card. So I lost out on that one.

Oh so I'm not important?

@LM - I like that photo of the Dark Avengers, bro. Looks fantastic. Would you mind posing both your MS and modified MS Hawkeye side by side for comparison? I'm just curious about the height difference and how you accomplished it. Thanks!
