Yeh the artwork/packaging looks good enough not to tare open and discard. so as the 1 of the only arkers on here to get the full wave of ML figues, would u say it's worth the $$ to buy them all in efforts for the baf? I thought you were purely a 3.75''collector.

then I'm one color blind Mexicano. I just got mine in today too. Looks black to me. Definitely darker than the already dark Navy Blue on the original.

Like I said, my Navy Blue two piece suit looks black sometimes to me too depending on the lighting.

edit: Just consulted the girlfriend who always corrects me on colors. She's also a painter. She said there are no hints of Blue in the paint on the variant Steve Rogers and that its black.

Either way, oh well. If we are struggling to tell the difference, what difference does it really make? This figure is great!

I put an LED light up to mine and it completely looks black to me too. Guess we're both color blind Mexicanos

i asked this over on the 375 thread, but maybe it belongs here:

for those ML BAF inclined:

is a loose waist on BAF Apoc a common thing? i got a buddy who has one avail. he says the waist is a bit loose, and has always been that way.

Depends what he's asking for it, if it's like a couple bucks take it if he wants like $10 tell him to f-off. The complete baf itself sells for $60-100 max (mind u some scalpers have him at like 200) I suppose if you got the all black variant instead of the bluesuit then it would be worth more, but that meant you paid a premium and got the variant figures to do so. If you want to know if it's a good deal, figures out how many pieces it takes to build him ie the number of figures in the wave, then take the total selling price of the figure online and divide that by the number of figures in the wave. So if the baf takes 6 figures to complete, and it goes for $60 then every piece is worth $10. And to the ppl who have every piece but 1 then it could be worth a lot more.

Giantman takes 10 pieces to build and goes for $100-200 on ebay, so if I can get each piece shipped for under $10 I'm laughing, sad thing is a lot of sellers charge like $15 for a hand then $10 to ship it, fuckers.

maybe i phrased my question incorrectly. the BAF Apoc is complete, with a somewhat loose waist according to my buddy. he's selling it to me for $50, as is. he lives a few blocks from me, so its instant gratification. i got one on eBay for $60, but i'll just sell it for the same price and move on. save $10.

since its my first BAF, i wasn't sure if the loose waist was common with Apoc, or any other BAF for that fact.

Giant Man and MODOK are next on my hit list.

thanks for the intel, fellas.

The Rogers variant is blue, you color blind bastards

Check the shade of blue on the trailer behind him... you can see that Steve's leg is a blue when it's lined up against another blue. Also, look at his boots.. they're black. It's a very very deep/dark blue that definitely can look black in certain light. It's a sweet shade if you ask me.

What, Steve Rogers can't be black?

Fuck it. I'm gonna just paint his flesh tone brown, maybe give him a hairnet, and call him Commander Rogelio

He was originally specifically modeled after Samuel L. Jackson, so it's extra awesome that Samuel ended up playing him...

Yeh $50 is worth it, just try and get him to stand before u buy, his upperbody is way top heavy from the tubes in the back the massive chest and big arms, all resting on out of scale legs, so for me when I had him displayed I always had him with his back leaning towards the wall, as a few times he took out a good chunk of my collection when he was leaning forward or in an action pose. I loved the figure, headsculpt alone is badass, if u already got 1 on ebay, then just sell it to another arker and make your $$ back, and put the funds towards Modok or Mojo.

Was not going to collect new Legends, and hopefully I stand behind it! However, with that being said, I picked up this Iron Man last week. :P

I do have a large Iron Man shrine/collection though. So spotting the variant to add to said collection isn't too far off. I did pass on all the other Legends that were there. Wasn't too difficult with an $18 price tag though.. wowzers.
