I'm trying to get back in. Gonna be rough. Can you believe this used to be my ML collection?

yeah I sold them all off. Everything but the Wolvie figures. Not sure why I sold them all. Maybe the money. Even though now now I probably could have made 2-3 times as much. Except "now" I would've kept them But yeah, I'll rebuild MOC one at a time. Or maybe by the waves

Could anyone with both the Wal-mart 6 inch movie Cap and the new ML Steve Rogers do me a favor? I'm looking for a shield without the peg on the back of it and was wondering if Steve can hold his movie counterpart's shield at all. Could someone with both snap a pic or two so I can see?

Thanks in advance!

Do people commonly part with their BaF pieces? I bought a ML fig today (Ghost Rider) and now I'm stuck wondering if I want to complete Terrax or just sell the limb. Hasbro's ploy is in full effect >: )

Based on my DCUC C&C experiences, they do, but it's more of a hassle checking eBay/bidding over and over, than just buying the figures. And a lot of the time people look to get too much $ for their piece, so you sacrifice a lot of your time scouring eBay and all to save probably $20 bucks when it's all said done and your BAF is complete.

It's a tight fit, but not entirely unworkable.

I keep a list in my sales thread. I try to stay fair and sell for $3 and have no problem discounting if you buy more than one. I have sold plenty over time. Feels good to help people find that last part.

I'm not looking for a suggestion, because I just bought Pete's variant, but out of curiosity which of the new Ghost Riders are you people digging more? Red or Blue?

At first I was blown away by the blue version (still like it), but the more I looked at pictures of it the more the red version grew on me. Since the variants have come and gone in my area, I called our friendly neighborhood PeteParker via PM and bought his red variant.

Hmm...well I only have the red one at this point, and while he is unmistakeably bad-ass I kind of find myself pining for the blue one. For me anyway, he just looks so much more "striking" in all the pictures I've seen of him...

I don't know why but I had a good laugh after seeing Steve trying to hold that strap with just his pointer finger.

Thanks a lot for the pics!

I'm probably a little late on this one, as I'm sure this is just a stock photo of the prototype for Commander Rogers....but damn, this looks like the head that a lot of folks wanted Rogers to have... (that is to say, a "larger" replica of the MU version's head) He also seems to have the white stripe running down his arm that he is missing on the retail version too....Arrgh, now I really wish I could actually get this version of Steve...*grumble, grumble*... >

Here's the ebay auction I found it on:
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Is variant orange flame Ghost Rider supposed to be a different character? Blue flame GR is Johnny Blaze right?

Other way around actually. The Blue one is supposed to be Danny Ketch and the orange variant Blaze...even though Blaze never wore the outfit to the best of my knowledge. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong though.

I prefer the orange Ghost Rider myself, but then again I have next to no knowledge of GR except what little I've seen of him in cartoons/movies and his part in Spirits of Venom. Funny enough, I never knew he had a blue look to him until I first saw these Legends releases

First thing I did with GR was rip that armor off. It all comes off except the belt thingy.

Blue because it's my favorite color if I were to collect ML GR.

Probably a spoiler alert for those who haven't seen GR2 but at the end he rides away and his flame is blue, maybe that's why they did a variant blue edition. Since there doesn't seem to be any GR figures from the movie.

Sometimes its best to not get in over your head. When I was heavy into collecting MU I got to a point where my figures were getting boxed up and stashed away because I didn't have room for them. That was when I realized I should sell them off and let someone else have a chance to display them, plus I was broke.

yeah...its not the money...I just know myself, and I would go balls to the wall to track down and pay premium for everything I HAD to have...like a Hawkeye and Green Arrow to name a few...I would want them now...plus I opened the ML Thor (relaunch) and I just didnt like the size...too big for me...I guess I was just to use to the 3.75...But yeah I am glad I was able to just kinda step out of it ya know...
