I've gotten into the select line recently. I'm trying to get guys that just wont scale well with ML but at the same time I want them. I was told on here that deadpool is way too tall for ML. (the MS one I'm referring to) Juggy is great too

No problem. I love them man. They can handle a number of different poses and old the rifles very well. Viper leaves alot to be desired face wise (most people call her Madame tranny) but great figures all around

They will be oversized. 7 inch scale. And limited articulation.

MS to ML scale wise always run with the bigger characters juggy, hulk, rulk, thanos and even colossus. the normal sized ones wont match up tho with the MS thor i think being the only acception. if u can take losing articulation to have the perfect scale id say do it.

Love the Thanos vs. Drax shots, FancyPants. Everytime I see a picture with that Select Thanos I start itching for one.

Anyway, here's another size comparison shot just to show the size of The Wreckers.

And I got this kick-ass Hobgoblin from Toyark member TheLongestDay (thanks, dude!).

"Grrr.. me Hulk no like close-ups!"

Then yesterday me and my fiancée are out shopping for nothing in particular and of course I stumble upon all of wave 2 at a place I never would've looked at before. They were marked up a bit (they wanted $30 for FF spidey) so I only grabbed Fantomex, Tball, and Madame Masque as they were priced at $21 a piece which is only slightly higher than TRU.

They had unmasked Daken and Drax at about $25 so I'm gonna shop around to see if I can get them cheaper somewhere else. It's just funny cause i hunted and hunted and then when I stopped looking I found the whole wave in one spot.

I might just try to get the last two pieces of Zola off eBay as the other two figures aren't really must haves for me.
I've got extra Buckys and Unmasked Dakens... PM me.

I can agree with the first part. Buying up retail to fill your own local retail space at higher premiums is unfair.

However, having seen the back-end of the cost of ordering them directly, I know first-hand that the higher pricing you'll pay at LCS due to them ordering from Diamond is absolutely necessary. Smaller stores are forced to pay higher base costs for these items, and have to make some kind of profit to continue stocking them. Often, they just barely break even on these, but continue to carry them in the hopes that it brings in a wider range of customers who will buy other things they really make money on.

My experience is purely based on the 3.75" characters sold for around $13 each.

It sucks, but it's a necessary evil to having some of these items available in LCS'.

That said, if the items are priced double what they cost or more, you're likely dealing with a definitive 'scalper'.

If you can find 1 of the big time spidey figures aka back and green let me know.

Yeah, he does have a little Spawn in him.. definitely more of a monster look to the Goblins than I'm used to seeing (which I fucking love).

I'm not sure if the cape is removeable (doesn't look like it).. you can easily remove it without damaging the cape, but it looks like it's permanently attached in two areas (each shoulder) so it would need to be ripped or cut off. The hood is completely separate and that is removeable.

Where the heck were they charging 30 for those figures? That's outrageously scalping...21 is still kind of high when the Target in my area only sells those figures for 15, half of who ever is charging 30. Even TRU only has them at 20.

I think Magneto is the next MS guy i'm getting. With the scale he should actually be perfect. Magneto was always taller than the xmen, MU did a horrid job with the secret wars CP on scale. He looks good but too short. if MS magneto is 7in id feel good about him towering over tony stark or nick fury

MS Magneto is fantastic! And comes with one of the better 'stand's provided by Diamond. He is rather tall, but I cant be precise as mine has always been on his stand, making him taller.

Mine is the masked version, both look amazing! I'll take some pics for you

Thats the problem, I dont know which to get. I want both dammit. Probably get which ever is cheaper

On amazon they have the masked one for 19 with free shipping. I'll get him and another.

Amazon exclusive is bad ass. I think its my favorite MS stand. May should weird, but I think the work that goes into the stand in this line is as important as the figure itself.
