They're only $19.99 in our system.

I have 100% verified these are coming to our stores, as a Walgreens employee. My store is getting them at the beginning of August, but your mileage may vary, the person who initially posted a really garbage picture on some closed Facebook group (with no real info...) had a date of August 30th.

Jesus Christ! These are $7.99 figures being jacked up towards the $30 mark & people have absolutely no problem paying that. WTF is wrong with everybody? Is everybody filthy rich except me? Is there any point where you draw the line & say "NO! That's ridiculous! I'm not paying that much!"???

Ya know? I wouldn't believe this absolute 100% INSANITY if I wasn't seeing it happen right in front of me. No, actually I'm still questioning reality, I think I'm plugged into some really fucked up experiment in some lab somewhere. This shit just can't be real. $20 for a crappy little 5" action figure & it isn't even a Japanese import? No way! Can't be real. Somebody is playing a joke on me & I'm gonna kick their ass when I find out who it is.

I picked up the Beetle from the Spider Man line & I thought it was $14.99 (which is way too high). I was furious when it rang up $19.99. I love that figure but I swore I would never buy another Marvel legends after that. $19.99? FUCK THAT SHIT!!!! Cheap ass soft bendy crappy material that easily warps. These things aren't even made out of real plastic. I have a couple Iron Man figures with bent warped legs that I can't straighten out no matter what I try. Hair dryer & boiling water don't work, it slowly goes back to the warped position over time. No way I'll pay the stupid prices they're charging. I can only hope you other guys eventually wake up & snap out of this insanity. There's a difference between "inflation" & "gouging".

Assuming I have any luck finding him, I'll try to help people out when I can. I was able to locate a TON of the Walgreens Walking Dead Ricks for friends and family, and I suspect that would have also been true for the Assassin's Creed exclusive if I had any reason to look.

Uh, wow. Calm down. You don't need to buy toys if you can't afford them.

And everybody getting together and boycotting a line doesn't work. Look at what Mattel did with their DC stuff: they can't sell it in store anymore because sales were bad and retailers stopped buying, so they took it straight to their website, started charging $30 + shipping with the added excuse that smaller production runs means higher cost, and they show absolutely no signs of altering that strategy. Meanwhile those products are simple repaints with new packaging.

Buy what you're willing to buy, and let others do the same. We'll always be screwed no matter what anyway.

Ok, so it's closer to say that just the Agent Venom figure is an exclusive. At first it seemed like an entire wave of the ASM2 figures would be exclusive.

If I happen to see AV the next time I'm in Walgreens, I might actually try to pick one up.

Could be a pricey trip to Walgreens especially if you find 2 or 3 Legends
If I picked up all that stuff there, I'd probably throw in a 6-pack to wash it all down, too.

6" Marvel figures haven't been $8 each for almost a decade, now. IIRC, the first price jump to $10 was in the mid-2000's, then to $15 a couple years after that. So that ship sailed a long time ago, my friend.

I'm no millionaire either, but I do have a fairly strict budget for my hobby. I stopped actively collecting ML's back when Toy Biz was still making them because I decided I couldn't afford them and the other lines I wanted to collect at the time. I also didn't like how much room they took up or the fact that the BAF waves were forcing me to buy figures I didn't really want just to complete the sets (blame it on my OCD, baby).

It's all about priorities.

I just happen to be so rich that I can buy all the crap Hasbro and Mattel throw out at us. I just love spending upwards of 20+ bucks for sloppy paint and warped limbs. I roll hard that way!

Great!

The more crap you buy, the more money Hasbro and Mattel have to make stuff that I want buy.

PS. Sloppy paint and warped limbs were around back when they were $8, too.

He is the way I see it on spending $20 a figure. I spend $60 a week in gas which I hate. So why not spend $20 on a figure which I love and will have for years.

Also btw, I can confirm the case is Black Cat & Carnage and not Spider-Girl and Toxin based on UPCs.

Nice, although the 2 Walgreens that I've visited have really nothing good on toys, do each Walgreens differ for the toys they sell?

This is one figure I would like to get. Even though the only other Marvel figure I have is the SM3 Venom figure. Hopefully he won't be too hard to find at local Walgreens.

Yeah, that... sounds like it could be an issue. Hopefully the number of pre-orders doesn't make him impossible to find in-store.

I wouldn't read too much into it at this point. If anything, I would think being able to preorder it on HTS would make it easier to find one at Walgreens. Some collectors prefer to buy online rather than spend a bunch of time and gas on the hunt, so this opportunity for them would mean less competition for those of us hunting at retail (theoretically).

It's not like Hasbro only made a certain number of AV figures total and is now going to take some of those away from Walgreens so they sell them on HTS. Far more likely that they're doing multiple runs of AV to cover both Walgreens and HTS.

I hope I will be able to track one of these down when they are released. If I'm lucky enough get two one will be repainted into his Thunderbolts colors.

They were up for pre order a couple weeks ago. I preordered them so I did not have to hunt.

Spider Man Marvel Legends Infinite Series Agent Venom Figure | Walgreens

Some said they were due to hit stores this month, but when I pre ordered them at the website they said they were due in october.

Thanks, I'm old school. Ordering stuff online feels like cheating. I like to find stuff in the wild, maybe after there is no chance in hell of ever finding something then I will order it. Stupid but that how I've been doing it for 20 years and it's still gives me a rush to find the item and grab it at the store.

Oh I hear ya. I even agree. Nothing like catching a toy on the shelves. But after 25 years of hunting myself , I have come to the sad realization of picking my battles. And the "Battle of Marvel Legends" has sadly become one of the lines that I will get where ever I can. I will still look at some Walgreens ( I still have not found the Tyrion GOT exclusive) and might grab a couple if I see them. But with Venom and Boba Fett, I pre ordered just in case.

Agent venom is in walgreens now. I checked a store and they had a bunch in the back. If you want one call or go to walgreens. They should be easy to get, the store clerk said that's the only character they had.

Did you just ask them to check the back or did you give them the UPC or something to look up and they said they had it?
