Almost positive the War Machine Mark II will be included in the Mandarin wave. It was pictured on the back of Iron Patriot's card and the figure was called James Rhodes instead of War Machine or Iron Patriot.

Jesus, why can't a "movie line" actually give us the stuff from the movie before it starts releasing repaints, slight remolds, and molds that have nothing to do with that particular movie. I mean.. I saw iron man 3 the day it came out and still can't get a decent version of the mark 42, that's outrageous.
Being that I'm more of a transformers collector, I bash hasbro quite a bit, but at least with the transformers movie lines, quite a few of the characters from the movie were released with the launch of the toy line. In the case of iron man, they wait til they saturate the market with toys that have nothing to do with the movies (ones that don't sell) which then becomes more difficult to find the actual movie toys in later waves since most retailers are swimming in the initial wave that hasn't been selling very much. And then, they don't even bother giving us main characters from the movie. Like with iron man 2.. Not a single version of the final battle whiplash armor was released.. With iron man 3.. So far there hasn't been a single bad guy. There have been photos of the mandarin, but what about killian.. And more so, what about ALL of the different armors from the movie? Couldn't legends wave one have been mark 42, patriot, and mandarin? Wave two could've been heartbreaker, red snapper, and killian.. And wave 3 could've been more of the specialized armors. It's just ridiculous that its been almost a month since the movie was released and I still can't find legends mark 42.. I really hope they don't wonder why their sales suck and why retailers aren't ordering more cases. |

As for this Ultron, I'm going to pass. I already got the silver one just for the BAF part. I honestly have a Marvel Select one, and he's damn near perfect. I could do without the repaint. Hell, I could do without the silver one too, I would have liked another movie character (or armor) or a new comic style figure. |

Two questions : One, I wanna know where this figure was found (retail, overseas E-bay seller, on the side of the street...) and Two, who posed him like his legs are made of jelly? Knees pointing one way, feet going another way... It does look pretty cool though, I just hope he's a variant for the wave 2 Ultron, and not taking up a spot in the (rumored) wave 3. We need different characters, not repaints.

We don't know. We don't know who is in Mandarin's wave. We don't know if this gold Ultron is in that wave or another wave. The figure came out of the blue there's not much really known about it so far.

Giveaway is the base. If this was just a custom there wouldn't be a base made with gold plastic.

Yes, 'cause I'm sure no customizer in the world is skilled enough to paint a base gold.
