Why don't they just make these a Ross, TJ Maxx, or Burlington Coat Factory exclusive and save these poor toys an inevitable trip over?

It depends on what retailers have requested for the line. These are the lower end price point items, and we won't know what to fully expect until February.

I can see this working for kids as I loved M.A.S.K. but this scale does nothing for me. It's directed at kids and if you look at it in that light, you can see why they are going in this direction.

I don't know for sure, but I assume this will be the main line, there will be a smaller Infinite 3.75 for collectors, and then Legends for collectors. Focus on kids, collectors off to the side with dedicated small lines.

Now, they didn't put out movie focused Infinite 3.75 for any of the movies last year, just "similar themes", before and after. So, they may just skip 3.75 movie ties ins. We'll find out in the next 30 days I guess.

Every now and then I look at the GOTG 2.5 inch stuff at stores and think it is OK. This "2.5" system" is getting cooler since they are actually building upon that scale and eventually you could have a more diverse display or play experience for the MCU than you can in any other scale.

I personally do not own any of these and probably will never own any of them, but currently it is only scale that has all the movie baddies and good guys from the last Marvel movie. So I can see people buying into this simple because it is the only options for some characters to be able to be pitted against each other.

I'm still crossing my figures for a 3.75" line, but I highly doubt Hasbro will make anything in that scale simply because it is overshadowed by all their other offerings. Kids now have 2.5" and Titans and adults/collectors get legends I feel like everything in between is getting shafted.

Well, we know there are at least a 5POA 3 3/4" line and a Legends line coming. So it is not as though this is it. I'm still hoping for some better options.

I love what i have been seeing so far. Ultron was a big bad guy in the 1990's foxkids Avengers cartoon. I hope with Ultron being the big bad in the next movie we get that on dvd.

I saw the $10 stuff at Fred Meyers a couple days ago. I would've bought the Hulkbuster had there been an Iron Man I could throw in it.

Honestly though, other than the Hulk + Hulkbuster pack, they all sort of look like a step back from even the Guardians stuff. Of course I love that stuff, but I think anyone who sees the AoU stuff will agree.

I'm not into the atv's and shit that are getting released. It's kind of a bummer because the original Guardians 2-packs just worked for the scale. Now we're getting goofy vehicles instead of just the cheaper packs with cool figures.

I'm a bit disappointed with the Sub-Ultron figures too. I don't like that they're just more Iron Man figures. The swappable stuff might be fun though so I'll reserve total judgement. Really though I think back to when I was a kid, and feel confident I would've loved these things.

I'll still be picking up a few, but probably won't get ahold of every Avenger like I thought I would.

Titan series HulkBuster is the only thing I want. I would love it if we got a 6'' Iron Man playset like the one pictured but better lol. My $$ is gonna wait for Legends and Select.

The only thing I see here is Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp. Looking forward to repainting those Quinjets.

The rest of the stuff is really hard to swallow. It's 2015 & this is the direction toys have gone? Aren't we supposed to be making progress & moving forward not back backwards in the future? I look around & the whole world looks the same as it did in the 60's & 70's. No flying cars, no futuristic cities & crappy 70's styled toys are back in the stores.

Just in case anyone missed it: Marvel Select 7" BW figure got posted today at BBTS and at EE.

Not sure why, but I have a feeling this one is going to be good, so I pre-ordered.

I was expecting this has I posted in another topic related to this toy line. Same approach as in Guardians of Galaxy, smaller scale with vehicle sets and packs with 2 figures. Price is lower both for the end consumer and also production. High articulation was elevating the costs with much return.

I expect other movie lines including GI Joe (if the movie comes out) to follow the same approach.

Generally speaking, female characters still get a large degree of neglect when it comes to the marketing of Marvel in general.
