Just a few things, that Blade is based off his comic book look, not Wesley Snipes, so I don't understand why people keep bringing up the actor. Plus TB did a Snipes figure back in the day. So there's your movie version for those that don't have him. I just came back from getting an oil change at Walmart and while waiting, I hit the action figure aisle and they had the entire Netflix series plus the Thor Ragnorak wave. I don't collect MCU figs, so left all those. Just got the awesome Bullseye figure and out of the package it truly is the best version of him ever done in the 6 inch scale. I am however thinking of giving his "crazy" uncovered head the mask treatment. I can always buy another BE loose on ebay should it not look great. I just took some action pics of Bullseye vs various good guys. Post em soon. Blade was there too, but I'm tight on funds so BE was my #1 want , Blade will be purchased next time.

I don't collect comic figures anymore, but that Bullseye looks good! I think the "Photo Real" technology is a smart and inexpensive way to keep up with other 6 inch lines. The best thing about MCU Marvel Legends is the dedicated sculpts, but now with "Photo Real", the bar has been loaded to the max. They obviously can't do this for the comic figures, but I must say that those figures are getting better and better as well.

My only issue with Bullseye is that I'd have preferred an extra right hand instead of only one for the right and three options for the left. Other than that, he's my clear favorite from the wave.

Destro your second to last sentence was totally ironic for me. Back when I was a casual collector and I only had some Godzilla figures, a few universal monsters, RoboCop, and a marvel select lizard bullseye roped me in and became my first Legends figure. Now I'm a full on collector with a plethora of junk and I'm excited to have a second go at the character.( A toy with moving figures blew my mind back then . Many adventures were to be had mosh pitting, poking noses, and flipping people off that dark day.)

Heh. I use to have fun with the movable fingers back in the day myself. Middle fingers as far as the eye could see.

Because no one gave a shit about Blade until Wesley Snipes played him. Ever since the Blade movies the comic version has been changed to reflect the Snipes version, so the reason the new Legends figure looks the way it does is because of Snipes, which is why we keep bringing him up.

Pre-Snipes Blade looked like this:

Not true actually. I grew up with Blade kicking ass with the Nightstalkers where he looked like this...

which was back in '92. 6 years before the movie. Modern Blade was definitely influenced my the movies though.

Nice Job Snake5289. Seems some people just know Blade from the movie when he already was remade as a kickass Vampire hunter back in 92'.

Anyways, here's some pics I took of Bullseye today.

Last time I checked, Rise of the Midnight Sons (Nightstalkers) and the Spider-Man cartoon came before Snipes' movie. In fact, I'm pretty certain the animated Blade figure was also out before the movie.

People that are not into comics all think that characters like Blade, IM, Cap, Thor, Hulk, Antman & BP became popular or prominent due to the MCU. There were cartoons, toys, clothing, posters featuring these Marvel universe characters looooong before 2008. I can forgive kids born after 2000, but anyone else that didn't know these characters existed before 2008 MCU is pretty sad.

It's not sad at all. I help people like that every Wednesday at my local comic book store. We have to understand that we are the minority. The general audience don't really know much about these characters. Sorry to say, but Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Ant-Man, and Black Panther were B-List characters before being brought to life on the big screen. Now these same characters are more well known or at least on the same level as Superman and Batman. In fact most of those characters were part of one, billion dollar movie( Civil War) that topped Batman V Superman. All it takes is a little help to point someone in the right direction and help them out. People see these movies, assume everything is cannon, go to a comic book store, and need help. It's best not to put them down, but help with knowledge that is useful.

So I found this entire wave today (plus an additional DD and Punisher) at Gamestop and overall it's a good solid wave but not without its issues. I picked up Punisher because he was the only one I really wanted from this set and I gotta say it's another knock out for Hasbro's MCU figures of late. I thought Jon Bernthal's portrayal of Frank Castle in Daredevil's second season was fantastic and I'm totally hyped to see what his own series will be like.

I wonder how collectors that aren’t comics fans are reacting to the Man-Thing BAF?

Well I know pretty much next to nothing about Man-Thing outside of 1 issue of X-Men when he helped Cyclops save Jean Rebound Girl #6 and I think the figure is pretty awesome. I had no interest in it until I saw people's pictures of him. A shame also that Hasbro made a superior swamp creature compared to that joke DCC did with Swamp Thing earlier this year.

As for the review, why would Man-Thing's peg be for Howard the Duck? Why would Howard the Duck even be hanging out with Man-Thing?

I'm betting it is actually meant for the eventual Sasquath retool for Puck.

sasquatch deserves his own unique sculpted buck and it has to be 10 inches tall. Deathlok got his own unique buck and it is excellent! Hasbro just needs to make an exclusive entertainment Earth Alpha Flight boxset. Just re-release the vhtf Puck figure along with Sasquatch Vindicator Shaman snowbird Aurora & Northstar.

First they need to do a Giant Sized X-Men box set.

Also, Sasquatch is too tall at 10 inches.

Man-Thing's lookin' real good. I might have to pick him up.

BTW, that peg hole is on his back, not his shoulder.

Ah, yes. I forgot about that. Nice catch.

But yeah, modern Blade is 100% inspired by the Snipes movies.

I have some limited familiarity with Man-Thing but not enough that I consider myself a fan, but I agree that the BAF looks awesome and is worth owning on looks alone.

But if you want to see the most adorable version of him, check out the Man-Thing minimate:

They have history in the comics, believe it or not.

Considering that John Byrne ctreated Alpha Flight & they made their debut in the uncanny X-men that Claremont was writing & Byrne penciled; I think he knew how to draw his creation at the proper hgt scale he gave the character; which was 10 ft tall.
