Ok guys I completely admit I do not understand modern toys as well as I do the old series stuff from my childhood. Everyone seems high on the Marvel Legends but I don't understand if there are different scales or just one larger scale (I prefer smaller scale like old TMNT or Toybiz X-men from the 90's scale as they take up less room). So I get BAF's are combos of multiple pieces gained from getting multiple figures from a series some of the BAF's are cool but wouldn't want the figures I'm less into. Basically I'm a huge X-Men fan and collect the old Toybiz figures from the 90's. I'd consider getting some marvel legends X-Men but have been confused by some looking more comic and some being Toybiz style figures like the ones in the attached photos. Are there only a few of these or is there a whole series of Toybiz themed X-Men figures for Legends? Looking to maybe get core characters (Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Beast, Jubilee, Jean Grey, Magneto, Sinister, Juggernaut, Sabertooth, Colossus, Iceman, Archangel/Angel, Bishop, Cable, Nightcrawler, Pyro, Blob, Avalanche, Mystique, Havok) Basically old favs from the show and comics. Can some toysplain me what is going on here and possibly point me to a resource where I can see these figures.....Thanks so much!

All Marvel Legends are in a 6" scale, technically they stand a bit over 6". The ones that pay homage to the Toybiz packaging are still regular figures just in the different packaging. For the X-men there has only been one retro style wave, all other figures have been sold in the standard boxes or in multipacks. Unfortunately for your position a number of X-men have already come and gone and backtracking for them can get pricey especially if they were exclusive, part of a multipack, or a BAF. We have a thread here called the "New Marvel Legends/6" Appreciation Thread" where you can ask more questions and hopefully get answers.

Marvellegends.net is also a great picture bybwave resource to help you find out what and when what has been released.

Just got my first set Cyclops, Jean and Wolverine. Any others you guys have seen that are 90's show inspired? I'll try the site but the sites I've tried so far often are missing some.

In the recent Caliban BAF wave we got Gambit, Jubilee, and Beast although Beast only has an angry Jim Lee styled face so that may not appeal to you. Professor X with his hover chair was done as a part of the deluxe vehicle line. Storm from the retro wave matches her cartoon look. Rogue is going to be tough, she was done a few years ago in the Juggernaut wave and last time I checked her prices online are stupidly jacked up. There's a really solid two pack from the 80th anniversary sub-line with Juggernaut and Colossus if you're interested in them, Nightcrawler and Mr Sinister were also done very recently in the Wendigo wave. The only classic Magneto Hasbro has done lately was part of an Amazon exclusive three pack but there's a possibility they'd include him in a second retro wave if they do one.

I saw a rogue packaged similarly to the 3-pack with cyclops jean and wolverine something about 80th anniversary and she looked very similar to the animated rogue. Also saw a 2-pack with Havok and Polaris that were like the animated versions as well. Just tough to keep track of all of these haha. Thanks for the help

Mystique was an exclusive from Walgreens Sabretooth - from the Apocalypse BAF wave Psylocke (only appeared a couple of times in the show) - from the Apocalypse BAF wave Weapon X Wolverine & Forge - Caliban BAF wave Cable - the Deadpool Legends wave 1 (with the Sasquatch BAF) Bishop & Omega Red - the Deadpool Legends wave 2 (with the Sauron BAF) Sauron was the BAF for the Deadpool Legends wave 2 |

I wrote a long comprehensive response to this in the general Legends thread. I hope it helps!
