No it doesn't. The spider logo is wrong. The logo is supposed to have the M-like legs, not the X-based ones.

Spidey is on the new Amazing Fantasy body while Firestar has the new pinless legs/arms. Iceman is the only one on an outdated body.
I know this is inaccurate to the cartoon series, I was talking about this particular Spidey figure needing to be the single release instead this Super Friends (Amazing Friends) pack cuz it’s such a standard version of Spider-Man. Also, another inaccuracy of this is the eyes. In the show, the inner part of the eyes had curvature, this figure doesn’t have that.

I'm glad retro Beast is a Fan Channel/Amazon exclusive... Retro Scorpion looks good too. And I'm gonna guess that cell shaded 3 pack Ice-man gets re-released in the VHS line.

Sad to say that I'm disappointed with the SDCC reveals. Oh well, guess PulseCon isn't too far away.

With the H.I.S.S. Tank Haslab we can likely expect the Ghost Rider tease is for Robbie, I don't think the 50 years of GR means it's someone from 50 years ago so much as just celebrating the span of the character(s). If this winds up being a $100+ project for a Danny Ketch with a bike I'll be sad since I've been waiting on someone to give us a proper Danny Ketch in all his 90s glory. I don't think it's too much of a stretch for a figure and vehicle set like that to be $60ish retail, but the times are changing and it's likely just wishful thinking on my part.

I see it being:

Main - Robbie and car
Tier 1 - Johnny with new bike
Tier 2 - Alejandra
Tier 3 - Danny
Tier 4 - Mephisto

Wakanda Forever Wave was just announced at SDCC

- Everett K. Ross
- Namor
- Nakia
- Shuri
- Okoye

BAF is Attuma

The Comic figures in the wave are that new Black Panther and the Hatur Zeraze.

So Pumped I can finally add Okoye to my shelf been wanting her for ages

Decent looking figs but i hate the windowless box. Hasbro dont qo all in on this. Its a bad idea and like many have said will lead to massive repacks being unable to be seen. Really hope hasbro reverses course on this idea.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this underwhelmed by SDCC... Beast in lab coat looks cool and I’ve never even seen a blue beast in person.. other than that it’s all an easy pass.

As for the packaging a hole showing the face would go a long way, no plastic needed

The package design they were already doing sans plastic, with the accessories packed away beneath an extra flap, would be infinitely better than the totally windowless boxes they're doing. Especially if they're just showing renders on the box. Between trying to navigate QC slippage in deco and newcomers now unable to see even how big the figure is, the new packaging suuuuuucks. Mego learned decades ago that nobody likes unseen figures, I don't get the thought process on the plastic-free packaging meaning hidden figures.
