Lasher looks great in those photos- especially for being such a bland figure- hasbro needs to get on the ball with their tentacles- a ball plug with bendy plastic would be great- or even a ball plug with a static tentacle that you could at least wiggle a bit would be nice... anything right now is better than whet we're getting with the symbiots (Agent Venom/Lasher/Venompool...)

Technically, we all do.
Action figures are descended from Barbie's Ken.
Ken is what started the first GI Joe figures that eventually led to all the other action figure types.

So in a way, we all buy the grandchildren and great grandchildren of Barbie and Ken.

Not sure the "hardcore Spider-Man fans" are all that excited about this guy, either. He's just another mark on the Symbiote figure checklist.

Lasher is in no way terrible for a Legend figure, but he is the least exciting of the wave by far.

Spawn came out a year prior to the Venom miniseries. Spawn, design-wise, is a combination of black-suit Spiderman body, Dr. Strange cape, and Ghostrider’s chains & hellfire... but don’t say that within earshot of Mcfarlane or he’ll throw a temper tantrum.

I prefer CY-Girls, personally... just an answer.

LOL I love the trolling on toy collecting forums. It’s seriously the worse case of “pot calling kettle black” on the Internet. Puts the political insults on Twitter to shame.

Aren't you the guy who, in another ToyArk thread, expressed his intense longing and desire to own a very scantily-clad action figure of convicted rapist Mike Tyson?

Just a question.

Nice photo shoot, but not a character I personally need to own. I don't care for her design much.

Is this a redesign of the Spider-woman costume? I think it sucks! Her old one was so much better! This is like some girl in a leather jacket!

I wasn't sure whether I wanted that Spider-Woman figure or not, but those great shots might have swayed me. I wanted Mysterio and Gwenpool as well, but Mafex Gwenpool is so spot-on perfect that I'm torn.

Spider-woman's costume is looking great in figure form! Still wish we got a 4'' figure of that costume, but am glad that after decades of the same costume, they finally gave her a new one. Pops so much better as a design this way too. Makes the figure feel more individualized too without seeming like a blank buck painted in spandex pattern of her suit.

That is literally why they created the term "Action figure" even though they are all offshoots of dolls. Because marketers in the 60s knew that males weren't secure enough to acknowledge they are playing with dolls. That's literally the birth of the term "action figure."

Bild Lili gave inspiration to Barbie, then from Barbie came Ken, then 3 years later came GI Joe. From that came all the similar items from companies trying to jump into this new market, including Mego in the 70s, and from there came all the size variations on the concept. All various scales of dolls. The only difference is that they decided to call it an action figure because "boys" wouldn't buy "dolls" even though they are.

So the term "Action figure" was created by a marketer to tell boys to play with & buy dolls.

I don’t know about the rest of your reply, but I find it hard to believe how you can think this costume achieves what you claim above. This costume is pretty much a girl in a leather jacket wearing shades. How on earth is that individualized? That is as generic as you can get! It’s like a discount version of a costume you would put together for a cheap cosplay attempt.

I can understand if you found the older costume overly revealing or something and therefore you feel this is relatively better. However, to heap praises on this costume as a great attempt to individualize and avoid being generic is .... well... incorrect!! If you don’t believe me, just go out on a cool spring evening and you would get this sort of “costume” worn by almost every girl out on the street.
