Shown via GR is another new Marvel Legends Series War Machine which will cost $24.99. Look for it to go up for pre-order tomorrow (10/18) at 1pm ET at most retailers.

Hoping for some weapons. Seems like another cash in with reused parts.

I’m not an Iron Man guy, so it makes sense that I’m also not a War Machine guy. That said, this armor isn’t actually canon, correct? I’m hoping a Tony-fan can confirm. I don’t believe Tony made a ‘Modular’ War Machine that represented his armor, albeit with a color edit. I think this entire design, not just the coloring, is a Capcom thing and was a bit of a shortcut to get War Machine in the game without going the extra mile to make him comic accurate. Then Toy Biz seized upon the popularity and inserted him into the variant Iron Man Mandarin ‘Face-off’ two pack, with Hasbro following suit all these years later.

Not sure if it ever showed up in the comics (don't think it did) but yeah this was War Machine in the early Marvel vs Capcom games. They just recolored Iron Man's sprite grey and silver.
If I recall they recently showed off a Modular IM figure with 90s style packaging that has the giant Proton Canon. |

So first those Street Fighter figures in the Lightning Collection, then the proton cannon accessory, now this. I'm putting it out there into the universe and manifesting a proper Marvel vs. Capcom assortment at some point. It may be what finally gets us Shuma-Gorath...

Wonder if we'll see some re-releases in Capcom colors ie all green 90s Rogue, etc.
Would also KILL for them to release some actual Capcom characters. Bet Hasbro could do a fine Megaman, Morrigan, Wesker, etc. |

They have to be better than the old marvel vs Capcom infinite figures.

The Ryu and Megaman figures from Infinite were great. Sucks they never did anyone else. I would've killed for a Dante and Morrigan.

This could either be a sign or just a coincidence. think about it, capcom Is coming up in the figure world I mean we have reveals on the street fighter Jada line, playmates just released their tmnt x street fighter line, hasbro is releaseing the mmpr x street fighter line, and now this. If Hasbro can get their Sh*t together then it would be possible we'd get a either a marvel vs capcom line or something to do with capcom, It would make sense with all the capcom stuff that's releasing but its only a dream.

This is obviously the Capcom version of War Machine and yet there is no mention of Capcom anywhere in the release.
I guess we'll see tomorrow when the sales go live. |

https://news.toyark.com/2022/07/14/j...-images-474020 They would need to have some kind of licensing relationship with Capcom to release another official tie-in, so I assume that's why none of the press materials reference the game. The character and design are Marvel's IP though, so they don't need any permission to release the character in the exact same design. Last edited by AcademyofDrX; 10-17-2022 at 05:13 PM.. |

If I get this , I will just consider it a Stealth version of the Modular Armor. Especially if it comes out as dark as these pics.

I don't know anything about this IM design, but I think this particular armor design looks best in these black and blue colors... so cool looking. Looks better than the stealth Invicible IM and the stealth regular IM that came in the Ursa Major wave.

I was hoping this was a hint that there would be a licensing agreement with Capcom. |

I wouldn't mind if they did a line that's MVC1-focused so we'd get Morrigan (& Lilith), Chun-Li, Captain Commando, Strider Hiryu, Jin Saotome, Ryu, Megaman, Roll and Zangief while also making exclusive Marvel figures like Blue Venom and Orange & Blue Spider-Man. |
