Nope, Lego minifigs are still just lego. Shoulder, neck, legs, just like 90s Kenner.

I wouldn't mind having a War machine and Iron Man of these... put a hook on it and make them ornaments for my miniature Christmas tree. Most the ornaments I have are made of Lego or are Star Wars themed, but Marvel could add a nice touch.

It was announced at SDCC earlier this year. Lego also got the license for DC, as well:

Lego will also be doing Hero Factory sets for both DC and Marvel:

No, Lego Minifigs are pretty much the same as always. And from what I can tell, the Marvel/DC ones will have the same articulation.

Just recently got into the Mega Blok stuff and am loving them. Hate to see Lego get ahold of the license (assuming Mega Bloks must stop releasing new figs) if they are sticking to the limited articulation minifigs.
I really enjoyed the Mega Bloks figures too (as my post earlier in this thread would suggest), but I'm really excited that we can finally have a new Marvel/DC crossover line again. And Hero Factory toys of both IPs means I'm going to get Wolverine and Batman to make a custom Amalgam Dark Claw.
