I know I shouldnt but I do love the swap pics!!! I really really do. I dont do it, but they make me laugh when they are funny. I also think it is pretty punk rock and f**k the man mentality. I support anarchy in its many forms. I know the whole, its bad and hurts collectors and what about the honest people blah blah blah. I really do get it. I am just happy we live in a world where there are people willing to do these types of things.... If I were to ever try it, I would use a Teletubby in Godzilla box, and ask for in store credit and use the money to buy watermelons and sit on my couch naked eating cold watermelons and looking at my free Godzilla.... remember I said 'IF' God save the Queen

I love that the extra head is Winter Soldier either that or Hope's story has taken an entirely different turn to the point where the toy comes with a decorative decapitated head. |

I'm not sure if this happened in the Toybiz Era But i remember when ToyBiz had packaging they had secure packaging i.e we need scissors to open the blasted things to get to the comic and figure !!!! the amount of hassle i went through plus once it was cut you couldn't re-package it , Hasbro should reinstate this type of packaging but obviously they won't cause that'll cost more money ... even for us |

Wow, I have not seen any figures missing the BAF part here thankfully. I am however still looking for Rocket and Carnage to no avail. Meanwhile Scalpers have them on eBay for $60-80! > |

Carnage can't be that much, he's everywhere up here. Scalpers would grab him if he was selling for that.

They run about $30-$40 each, so I assume he meant that price as a combined total. Still a lot of scratch for 2 new figures widely available currently. That doesnt mean they are easy to come by, just means that they are currently for sale in retail stores right now. I am enjoying seeing the prices for SDCC stuff on ebay right now. I love the double and triple prices on the booth costs that were already expensive for exclusive stuff I know a lot of locals use SDCC as a side business to earn some easy summer time money. Students and soccer mums alike, I understand that money isnt always easy to get and if you can go to a show in your backyard and resell toys to nerds around the world.... of coarse they would. If there was a rare candle show in my town and I could sell those candles after the show for 100's when I paid 30, then i would do that. I just hate it when fellow collectors and toy and comic fans do it.

The locals first need to get badges for Con and they don't have a better shot than anyone else. It used to be easy for the "soccer moms" to go make a quick G slinging that plastic but I doubt they are even in the game anymore. Not for Hasbro or Lego or the more pain in the ass exclusives where people are waiting at the wee hours of the morning.

That link kind of had me like a high school aged bystander yelling "Oh snap, shots fired" lol. Luckily it hardly happens anymore but I guess I've gone to good stores now since people over here aren't dumb

I have however seen people take cheap luchadore figures & place them in boxes especially in an interesting fashion like with Juggernaut & spiderman once I think. Juggernaut's had a similar head & the person I explained it to said it's ok & I realized this person was part of the problem

Isn't Storm the short packed one? I think Magneto would be popular but people already have him, right? It's the BAF part they want.

ya know, In a BAF series they really should either not short pack anyone, or if you insist on a short packed figure, only pack it with something like a blast effect for the BAF! otherwise you end up with a bunch of mandroid arms and legs! (I'm looking at you Black Widow!)
