That thing looks amazing but every time I buy the Marvel Select figures im kind of disappointed.
I have the Gambit, Juggernaut, Hulk and they are not that articulated and dont really fit in with either the Marvel Legends or Marvel Universe scale.

You're right. The Select figures only really fit in with the other lines if the character is supposed to be a behemoth. For example, Marvel Select Thanos fits in perfectly with the Marvel Legends line, so does the Select Juggernaught. But they are just too big for Marvel Universe. I think that the Marvel Select Uatu the Watcher fits nicely with Marvel Universe, though. And so does the Select Mephisto. The characters just have to be really big in order or it to work. But characters like Hawkeye, Gambit, etc. definitely don't mix.

The other thing with the Select line is I think sometimes the sculpts are off. I love the new Gambit, and Juggs is great too, but I was disappointed with the Cyclops. The sculpt is just so lackluster. And I don't like the sculpt on the Select Deadpool's head either. This Hawkeye looks just okay to me.

I forgot that I have the MS Deadpool as well. I actually like his sculpt much better than the ML Deadpool. Again, the articulation and scale kinda kills it for me.
This thread is kinda making me want to get rid of all my MS figures now.
The Hawkeye actually looks perfect in my eyes as far as sculpt and detail.

i like quite alot of the select figures. the movie iron man and thor are amongst my favourite....

...not sure why they did them a differet scale to the movie wolverine which is a shame. but the fact they made deadpool so tall really fuuumes me. hes taller than thor for christs sake. they really dropped the ball with that one. what a slap in the face to all collectors who want to dosplay him with other select figures.

I have the MS Deadpool, Abomination, iron man not the movie version or the ultimate version, the normal 1 that has the launching blast base, MS masked Captain America, and zombie spidey which I found loose. I have MS Thor and Gambit sitting aside for me at a comic shop. I love the select figures, for collectors who are all about MOC select does some nice packaging, large, and bulky but the artwork is nicely done and the figure is displayed well in a huge blister card. I would love more aritculation in the line as well, but the more detail you add the less range of motion you'll have and want. frankly Abomb is perfect in my eyes, weighs about 4lbs and the paint aps are sick. MU is small toys and not really meant to mix in well with these figures, MS is more a branch off for ML collectors or for anybody wanting a ML type figure without the ML price. Hawkeye is the perfect example a loose ML Hawkeye fetches $15-20+ MOC is $40-70 range from what I've seen on ebay, you could get 2-3 MS figures for the same price. So there's always pros and cons to every toyline MS is no different, frankily my only gripe is the price, typically I can't find them mass retail only at comic shops and they're damn near $30/figure. They work perfect with ML, but the only ones that work with MU are....the skrulls/broodqueen pack, you could use them as super skrulls, and the Broodqueen is in size, and I see a lot of collectors using Phoenix's back drop of the Phoenix in flames with the smaller MU Phoenix. The bases are the main draw they work awesome with any MU figure, especially the new line that has cyclops, gambit, etc they all have bases to form a dangeroom set up, perfect for MU figures.

The only Marvel Select I own is Anti-Venom, and he's absolutely awesome in my opinion - though I could kill a cat with him (not like I'd actually do that - just sayin').

I had a MS War Machine (Movie), and he just SUCKED - his arms flippin' popped off on their own accord! It was sooo cheap feeling. The only thing good about it was the Don Cheadle face sculpt. I gave him away at my garage sale. But now I have the amazing Iron Man Armored Avenger 6" War Machine which is superior in every way - aside from that Don Cheadle face sculpt of course. I was absolutely devastated though, to go from Anti-Venom to that monstrosity....I kinda lost faith in the line, until I saw this Hawkeye.
