I'm after some ideas for comic toys for my young boys aged 5 and 15 months. Any ideas?
Thanks

My 3 year old has all of the 6" Avengers and loves them. He also has a few 4" Iron man figs. I keep all of the small stuff or things I know he will loose. He is really getting into the Super Hero Squad, I think he may get A few of those next. Not trying to Marvel bias my son. Just go with what you think they can handle, and have fun with them!

Super hero squad,

It has a huge range of figures to keep the adult hunter happy and the figures are robust enough to take a beating.

That's kinda young, However. The marvel super hero squad are big enough not to put in mouth. And no little parts. My boys 2, but similar rules apply. I'm going to get him one of those dark knight rises 3.75 batmans. They dont have a lot of articulation and feel a little more solid thant a MU figure

Super Hero Squad, Marvel Spider-Man Adventures or Marvel Super Hero Adventures. I have two daughters: a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old and they own a few of each. My eldest is more into them than my youngest, but they both still have fun with the toys.

The Adventures series feature more articulation than SHS, but that means they are slightly easier to break/damage. There's also vehicles and playsets for both (some of which you may need to hit up Ebay or Amazon to find).

My 3-year-old twins prefer the 10-12" figures with the button in the middle that makes the figure say stuff. They had some older ones which were modeled after the Super Hero Squad figures too, and those were even more friendly-looking.

Though neither of mine care that the Hulk we have screams Hulk Smash over and over.

Well for the 5 year old, you could do even larger scale stuff like Marvel Legends or DC Universe Classics, even stuff like G.I. Joe or Marvel Universe. When I was 5, my parents were buying me Masters of the universe, Transformers, G.I. Joe...it really all depends on what kind of kid he is. for the 15 month old, I'd go with some of the more cutesy marvel or dc stuff you find in the baby aisle. They have like soft plush Hulk and Spidey toys you can get.

There's also Legos (which have both Marvel and DC sets now), though I'd only recommend that for the 5-year-old (and only if you know how your son would handle them).

There's actually two sets with Deadpool. The first one is holding swords and comes with Punisher (as Captain America). The second one is holding guns, has his harness and comes with Taskmaster.

There's also a XMO:W version that is part of a 4-pack, but I personally don't consider him Deadpool.
