I'm not too excited for Ice Man.

I like the Wolvie Origins Ice Man better.

The transparency of his ice is cool though.

Get it?

The XMO one automatically looks better since the new one is yet another repaint of the black Spiderman body.

I like the head sculpt on the new Iceman. I don't think they had to make him look so skinny. Give him some Cable mold bulk!

sorry but for this series, i dont know what have to say, but all for this figures are bad for me, except magneto (damn i dont collect xmen story in this series)
- iceman : reissue and repaint to be clear with unusefull X strip in his chest, hasbro dont give him his ice slide, and that is bad for me
- Absorbing man : reissue and repaint again, i agree with one of member says this figure is not very hard to find from SW series, and the point i really like SW version, its cool to see his half body change and makes him powerfull
- Magneto : i think this is new and not reissue, correct me if i wrong. i like his body and his eyes, cool but i think he will more cool with his classic red and purple outfit
- Wolverine : always have this guy for every marvel products, i think it some kind iconic for this brand so wolvie have to be in every series and size i think hehehehe...i probably take it since i really like this outfit rather from other outfit
- Tony stark Iron Man : this is very very ridiculous for me, if you put and want to make tony stark please made him in his casual costume like mary jane, you can made her but cant do that to tony ?? cmonnnnn guys !!! only make his new head without hair, also provide him with extrimis armor head and body with blue arc reactor is very bad figure for me, this is iron man figure that i will pass for first time, even im fan of iron man

For me the main difference between this Iceman and the XMO one is... I don't have the XMO one. LOL.

And if they straight up re-issued the XMO one I'm sure people would have complained about that more. LOL.

I don't have a Magneto either, so this upcoming one is new and shiny to me. LOL.

^^@amalberga - Not to be a bubble-burster but I think Mags is a re-issue too, sorta...comic pack head and cape, AIM body. I'm not 100% sure but I think this is the case

Wow, Magneto's cape really sucks.

Overall the wave is only so so. The fact that there's TWO characters in this wave that have multiple versions already on the pegs shows me just how much Hasbro really doesn't pay attention to their line. Hell, one of my Wal-marts has nothing but three different versions of Ironman on the pegs...the same ones that've been there since May.

Of course they've gotten nothing new since then.

I figure they put out an updated Magneto to meet the demand associated with X-Men First Class, in their own cheap repaint way of course. I also think this is their way of putting out new stuff without using up every character we want/ask for right away, leaving some big characters to keep the MU series going for a while.

Ultimate X-Men, as well as Ultimatum. No clue on exact issues though.

I think I would rather have this Iceman because the XMO one has horrible head articulation.

Is Wolverine a repaint of the X-Force set Wolvie? It looks like his Astonishing X-Men outfit.

That is true but I hate the mold they used for this Iceman and why did they make him with the silver X when they could have just made him blue/clear to fit in with the rest of the Xmen instead of now not being able to fit in because of that X. Also that mold makes his head look huge and is comparable to that other crappy MU Iceman from the Spiderman and Friends 3 pack.

Yes, spot-on, repaint of X-force figure, but in Astonishing outfit.
It is a very cool Wolverine though either way.

It's a SAD DAY when Wolverine is the best figure in a set..

Yes, Magneto is a new fig (i.e. never released before), however it is a completely rehashed/kitbashed figure. The head and cape is reused from the SW pack, and the entire body is the A.I.M. Soldier. Slopped on different paint and that is it. In my book, Hasbro really failed on this figure for such an iconic villain. I'll definitely buy him, but I'll be pulling him apart to make my own custom.

Hasblow, damn right.

They even left the damn AIM soldier collar...

Still, I think he looks pretty good.

I don't really mind all the reuse and repaints, it's the reason we have so many figures!

LOL. Everybody complaining about Magneto and Wolvie, but still say they will pick them up. I think Hasbro counts that as a win. LOL.

I'm not complaining about about either of them. I don't have a lose Magento so I need this one and I think he looks awesome. And for Wolverine, I know this sounds weird, but I'm actually looking forward to this one. Especially since we are getting an astonishing beast. Now all they need to do is make an astonishing Cyclops with the Jim Lee Cyclops mold and I'll be happy. Oh and Emma Frost

I am going to keep Magneto, Wolvie and Iceman MOC, so I am pretty much just buying them for the card art. LOL. Since I am X-men fanboy I pretty much keep all my single card mutants MOC and just open up the CPs/box-set/non-mutant figs to play with.

And if we ever get a Emma Frost I hope it is a sexy old school Emma Frost instead of an Astonishing version... although it will probably be an Astonishing version since she is the last one if you include XMO Cyke.
