Sasquatch is another character that works well, you can use him to make yourself an alpha flight team, or you can make yourself a small army, and mix them in with thor figures for a frost giant look, the variant version also is awesome. Baf's giantman, galactus, modok, mojo, red hulk all look sweet. I especially like those marvel bases on the figures, the phoenix base would look sweet with a 1:18th scale Phoenix figure. and mixing in old toybiz figures is a great idea, I like that strong man, but hate his open gripped hands, I'd either fill the holes in with clay and repaint or do a hand swap.

Hmmm I actually have a Sasquatch from the super old alpha flight line. May have to grab Puck and Guardian now.

Wonderful pics vampireheart. I always wondered if that BAF Mojo was too big for MU, but he looks perfect!!! I have the old Toybiz version and planned on painting him but the ML one looks so much better. BAF Modok looks a hair too large for MU IMO, but still looks great.

I love that Man-Thing figure, and will probably pick it up even to just display by itself.
Oh, and I've been keeping an eye on this for a while now, but one of you diorama guys deserve to put it to good use. Here is a cheap Wayne Manor, ending soon: BATMAN WAYNE MANOR BATCAVE PLAYSET w/ figures by Kenner | eBay |

Those are great pics!
Most of the ML accessories work great with MU, as they could never really make sale diorama parts for ML and all that stuff was a bit lower in scale. |

Yeah- I need to post some pics of my repainted Sentinel head base- those were great sculpts and the head is in MU scale!
It further proves my point about a lot of ML stuff being too small a scale- the BAF Sentinel for example looks good (if a bit skinny) with MU figs but laughable against ML versions of same. I also have some dead frost giant skull base that rocks no end with Modern Thor on it! I just did a light black wash on the bones and it was perfect. Now I check ebay for bases- and my LCS owner knows to look for them for me when buying loose toys from collections! |

lol It's all good man. I really wasn't sure if I was gonna bid anyway.
I was messing around with some toys taking pics and completely lost track of time and forgot about the auction. It ended by the time I remembered. lol Oh well, it finished for more than I would have paid anyway. |

I need some of those ML clear flight stand bases- they rock for bigger figures!
That water base for (I think) Sub Mariner is the perfect lower body for a custom Hydro Man (use a repainted Piledriver from the waist up). Could also work for a Sandman- spray the base with sandstone paint (available online or at craft stores) and use a Doc Samson body with a modded Piledriver head (you'd have to work that wacky Osborn-like cornrow hair). |

How is that compatible though? Aren't Gundams supposed to be like supermega tall?

I probably shouldn't mention this because I'm still trying to find more, but here goes... The Desert Ambush Scarlett figure from the G.I. Joe movie looks pretty good as a vintage SHIELD Femme Force base. If you mix and match heads, you can build your own team using heads from The Baroness and Cover Girl.
The movie version of Iron Monger from the IM1 line looks great with MU (even the one which opens). Sauron from the old Toybiz line looks great next to the Ka-Zar I cobbled together using Sentry's head and Namor's body. There are plenty of scale smilodons available out there which work as Zabu. I think that the Ronan and Apocalypse BAFs look great with MU. Also, there's a 7" Apocalypse which works (I have all 3 in a line up). Holocaust and Onslaught BAFs work as well. ML Abomination and Wendigo look great. The 2008 Hulk line has Bibeast and Ironclad, as well as Abomination. |

I feel like anyything that's not a combiner mech could work in a dio with troop builders. And if not, you can use their guns with the MU or joes as high tech beam weapons. |

I use repainted Redekai guns for that reason. The handles suck but they make terrific scifi guns.

I love that both MODOK and Mojo are perfect for MUs, and MODOK is the perfect AIM display piece (as we all know).
As for Strong Guy, he does look correct in scale, but obviously the material is all off. He looks very awkward standing in a group of MUs.

Master Mold from the old Toybiz line will work well. I plan on repainting it to blend in with the rest of my sentinels.
