Not sure where exactly to put this one so I'll just put it here for now.

Sometime next month Spero toys will be launching a Kickstarter for their Animal Warriors of the Kingdom line.
He has tons of great concept art for more characters as well.
Concept Art

He just posted some of the final prototypes pictures for the campaign.

Pale (still unpainted) GI JOE and TMNT for scale

Army Builders - Good Guys

Army Builders - Bad Guys

That is pretty Bad Ass. Like the High Evolutionary was on Adderol and whipped up a bunch of fightin' animals.

Yeah I love the designs. If you look at the concepts page on his site there are a bunch of great looking characters that will be great figures.

I got a little more info about the campaign. It is going to start June 1st and the first 6 smaller characters will be funded at the $45k mark. The figures should run about $20ish each
So that will be a regular Pale figure, the 4 army builders and a translucent blue "Spectral" Pale figure. At 60k that will unlock the larger buck and will allow for the main antagonist Baron Kah Lee and the Mandrills

Kah Lee is on the right in this picture

The bigger Mandrill buck is the middle right one

He did say there would be other little stretch goals and such between the two levels. I've seen some weapon packs but I don't know what else there is.

The one thing I see is The Mandrill but the body of these figures is too skinny.

Would work well in a fantasy collection as a race of humanoid apes. Also as someone pointed as High Evolutionary goons. BTW why isn't there a High Evolutionary 3.75 figure. Does he have any figures.

Any UK collectors have a Debenhams store nearby? I picked up the Motormax Battlezone Apache Longbow today at 60% off (so cost £13.20) - 1/18 scale, has lights and sounds and IMO will go great with Military figures/dioramas. This beast is 2 feet/60 cm long and there are 5 up on EBay - 3 of which are approx £50.

OK, working on adding articulation to Chap Mei Police figures as background characters with varying degrees of success so far. As far as the Bad Guyz go, anyone have pics of what Bad Guyz were released together with character names?

Bad Guyz

Punk Rocker Pete

Pumpkinhead Scot

Swiftblade Bill

Stinger Lloyd

Snaky Drake

Foul Play Nick

Barcode

Roasterhead

Cobra Ryan
I couldn't find a better picture of this guy yet but it looks like just a repaint of Snaky Drake.

Here are some card backs with their names on them.

Some of this guys look great. Hell Swift blade bill looks like a well know meth dealer in the next town over from me. With a tiny bit of articulation ID want them all

theArchivist,

thanks that is exactly what I was after. Got Foul Play and Snaky Drake as part of a job lot (and a guy in a black t-shirt with Run Wild on it pink, and yellow and black tiger stripe pants - don't know if he is from the Bad Guyz line). Currently working on adding articulation to these and the Cop figures.I've also ordered a Swiftblade Bill. Never seen any of the others but if I was going to make a Punk Rock Pete figure from scratch the Boris head from MIB3 would be perfect IMO.

Do you guys know of any road playmats that go good with this scale? When I look it up all I can find are the one's meant for the Fisher Price toys. They don't fit in very well.

I was thinking about using the lego road baseplates.

Got a decent Patrick Stewart headcast from Vortious and stuck it on the MU Prof X body so halfway there but is there a 3.75" or 1/18 scale wheelchair that will work with this figure? Have the Sam from Avatar wheelchair but it is far too small!

Campaign is about 25% to funding.

I had the originals, finally sold them a while back. Wish I could afford these, more my scale now.
