I've been using BBTS to order all the Hiya Aliens and Predator stuff but missed out on regular-priced grunt Aliens. Turns out you can order those Aliens directly from their site ä¸*æµ·æµ·é›…çŽ©å…·æœ‰é å…¬å¸

I'll let you know when they show up

A 6'5" male figure would be about 4.28" tall. Would the McFarlane Monsters Phantom of the Opera figure work for what you want? He is about 4.28" tall but has very limited articulation.

Here is an old picture I took next to Han Solo from 2008/09 Legacy line.

Got this guy last week.

Shoulder socket of the left arm was broken and the arm was loose in the package when it arrived.

Seller was lucky he sold it to someone who knew what he was doing.

Anyone seen the Justice League playsets? They look like they would go good with the scale.

So far no signs of them here, but the Flying Fox ship looks cool while the Playset looks to be a BvS Batcave repaint.

Saw that the Game of Thrones Ice Wall playset at TRU is marked down to 20 bucks... comes with 3.75" Tyrion, but still have a hard time trying to figure out what to use a small section of the ice wall for in any kind of base/dio setup.

I put my Funko and Multiverse Mr. Freeze figures on it (DC), but you could put Iceman on it too.

Looks like Disney is venturing into articulated 4 inch figures with Star Wars figures designed similar to the old infinity figures that went with the video game.’ There’s a stormtrooper floating around the web that appears to at least have shoulder articulation and that is maybe 4 inches. Google new Star Wars Toybox figures.

Theoretically. I am considering getting some of the colored clear notebook dividers and cutting them up and putting them inside the Legos to create a colored effect.

Batman could do a good use of this place, I remember a story from the 70's in which Bruce Wayne traveled to another place just to help a werewolf who was lost inside a cold forest. Great story and great playset to reenact it with action figures.

I missed the boat on Hiya Aliens from US sources like BBTS (they're now OOS or way over-priced at places like Amazon). But apparently you can just order them straight from the Hiya Toys website! Which I did and they came after the normal Chinese-boat shipping time.

I already had a few Hiya Colonial Marines, the power loader, and some AvP Aliens. I ordered a couple new xenomorphs. I'd heard they were fragile but they seem fine to me. If you're not sure which way a joint ball is facing, just be careful and don't force it!

Here's a comparison shot. HotToys left: Hiya right. The new guys are beefier and more movie-accurate, especially around the legs area. But its nice to have variety in the xenomorph soldiers. The Hiya eggs are smaller than the HotToys, which is minor. The Hiya come with colony-hallway figure stands (awesome!), a face hugger, egg, and SIX extra hands. They hands are nice but not really all that different. I could have settled for just one extra pair of hands and maybe a pluggable jaw piece?

Great purchase though. Looking forward to the APC and the Predator figures.

edit: the Lurker alien comes with a clear plastic clip-on dome piece that does not clip on. Either the softer plastic head swells up in package, or the clear piece wasn't molded large enough. Shoddy craftsmanship there. But it looks okay without it.
