In slightly related news: Zica's Adventure People line has been temporarily redesignated Comic Action Heroes and is up on their sight for preorder. The final name for the line will be announced when the figures and card art are done.

These are the 8 figures up for preorder, at $23 each.
Action Jackson, Captain Action, Captain Action classic purple suit, Captain Action stealth suit, Captain Evil, Captain Evil's henchman (in white), Jet Jungle, and Strike Force Trooper.

I believe these were mentioned before, particularly as potential Hydra Troops, which is why I wanted to post it up again with updated info.

I asked ZICA if they had a timeline for release, this was the response: I honestly have no idea at this point. The factory was given revision notes on the last batch of samples I received and I'm still waiting to get the new samples back. There were 5 pieces that needed to be revised.

Dino fever is spreading which (thanks to Mattel's Jurassic World line) translates into more Marvel Universe-compatible sets.


Discovered @ BIG LOTS three different Dino Hunting vehicles (Chap Mei?) that each have:

1. an open cabin for 2 figures plus steering wheel (no working doors and legroom may be tight for taller figures).

2. working wheels, lights, and sound (which do not detract from the vehicle's design).

3. comes with one 3.75 inch figure with 9 PoA.

4. various playset accessories from static dinosaurs, four-wheel ATV, working cage unit, large piloted truck turret (projectile?), and working cargo container unit.

Nevermind, I did it myself. They are smaller than regular/modern 3.75", a bit close in head size to those Disney figurines.

Here’s the email I got yesterday:

“Before I post the details of this latest update I want to give a huge shout out and thanks to Mr. Solomon Witt of Sunok Studios. His company is working on a line of 1/18 scale sci-fi figures called Hell Screamerz, which was also launched via Kickstarter:

Both the Adventure People and Sectaurs projects are being handled by the same factory that's working on the Hell Screamerz line, which has also suffered a numerous amount of setbacks during its production phase. Solomon took it upon himself to make the trip to China and get things back on track for all three projects, which he has successfully accomplished. What makes this even more amazing is that he still managed to do this after having emergency stomach surgery while in China, now that's determination!

Thankfully, after extensive meetings and review sessions with the engineer, project manager and owner of the factory, the Adventure People and Sectaurs projects are about 97% to where they need to be before production can start. The only things left are some minor joint tolerance tweaks and paint sample approvals. Production is scheduled to start shortly after the factory returns to work from their Chinese New Year holiday break. Solomon will be returning to China when production is ready to begin and oversee that phase as well.

I should be receiving some new samples fairly soon and will be sure to share some pics. Thanks again for your unbelievable patience and I'm glad to say there finally seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel for all of these projects.”

Ok, I found it. Not enough traffic to keep it on the front page, you have to actually go looking for it. I guess that is what happens when you won't believe people telling you your site isn't working right. I would really love to order those figures...someday...if I live that long.

The Marauder Task Force agent figures are being released. The figure comes with a second torso and arms, extra forearms minus hands, and a flak vest. I took the legs from an extra Wolverine and an extra Boss Fight blank head and created a second figure.
