They use a hard plastic for the main body and the hands are a softer type of plastic. They all come with extra sets of hands. The apologuyst guy comes with 2 sets of hands and the other three come with 3 sets of hands.

They all have the same articulation and all the parts can be popped off and are compatible with each other.
The paint is minimal and the paint on the head is a little sloppy but I wasn't really expecting a whole lot from them.

The 2 main problems I have with these figures is the antenna pieces and the hands.
The antenna pieces are separate and I already misplaced one of them. I glued them on the other 2 figures so the wouldn't fall off again.
The hands are very loose and pop put all the time. There is no good way to overcome this except to be careful with them.

They do stand very well on there own and can manage a lot of good posing.

Here are some additional pics of the SHODO Kamen Riders

articulation breakdown:
Articulation:
Ball/socket neck
ball/socket shoulder
swivel bicep
single hinge elbow
swivel mid-forearm
ball/socket torso
ball/socket hip
swivel thigh
single hinge knee
ball/socket ankles

Sculpts and articulation look good. Paint looks a bit sloppy. Extra hands are nice. I wish we had figures this nice here for the equivalent of only 500 yen ($4.16).
Funny enough I ordered these off of Ebay about a week back. Just waiting for them to make it overseas now.

I also picked up the Monster Hunter MRS figures which did arrive.

I also found (haven't arrived yet though) one of the Fourze Candy Toy packs, and the Style Action Wizard EX Candy Toy figs. Also have some of the ACTION ARMS EX 2 Masked Rider GAIM coming (a whole mess of GAIM figs coming actually), the Kamen Rider Driver packs (all 3 sets), a bunch of the Vinyl non-action figures and a few other surprises.

I have the Garo Horse coming (it is the last Garo Knight figure I need to get) and I finished off the SIC Ultimate Soul figures with the Motorcycles.

As these come in I will have to post pics.

There is a whole site for just the Asian fig, it is called Tokunation.

This is just for figs that scale to the Marvel Universe and and such are "compatible" with it.

Here are some Monster Hunter MRS figures next to a Han Solo figure for scale.
There were 2 main body types Male & Female and then different color variations.

So to my understanding there is a Monster Hunster Karyudo set and a Karyudo G set that is alternate shades and colors.

I just got my Karyudo set today and noticed it didn't match up.

Not sure what you mean in the first question. "Wave 1" was just Vegeta and Goku.

That link figure is pretty crappy and is mostly a statue, but until the World of Nintendo Link came out that was the only one in best scale. There is also a Zant, Midna, and Wolf Link in that line.

I know Microman has been mentioned already. I use Microforever for more info about them.

micromain

But one thing I don't see too often was that there was a really odd line of Godzilla figures where the micromen fit inside the Kaiju.

I only have the Gamera figure because I thought it looked cool.

here is an image of the microman being inserted into one of the Kaiju.

The Kaiju end up mostly being a rubbery statue though.

Not really Japanese but Hot Toys made some snap kits of Aliens and Predator (which have already been mentioned) but they also made a line for Appleseed ExMachina in 4" scale.

Microman also has some new lines that are made more for girls. Here are some examples from each of these lines.

Another female figure that is in the 3.75 range is the SH Figuarts Chibi Moon aka Rini

I know she is a little kid but the size looks good next to other 4" figures as a regular Sailor Scout.

You can see she is a lot smaller than the regular sized Figuarts figures.

I'll try and get a picture of her next to a regular 4" figure and post it.

Revoltech also did a Pixar line.

Sully stands at about 3" tall. I got a couple of him to be smallish aliens or something.

The best figure of the line is Mr. Incredible. He works Perfectly in Marvel Universe scale.

Wall-e is also good. He is about the same size as the Thinkway Wall-e, which is a lot easier to get.

o.O I've never seen those before. I must have wave 2 though. My brain thought those pants were the wrong color but he must just be missing the waist accessory.

That makes sense. Yes he doesn't have the waist accessory in that picture.

Y'know of a decent place to get wave 1? Everything I could find about it was a set with similar Veg + Goku and a SSG Goku but they were said to be 2 inches.

That Disk Wars line seems quite nice. I bought a Cap and Thor yesterday. Now I just have to wait 3 or 4 weeks to have them :\

Mailing times from China to Portugal suck big time.

Hmmm I never really looked into getting these but now that I look these do seem to be smaller than the second wave for SHODO figures...
They looked almost exactly the same so I assumed they would be the same size, which was slightly smaller than a GI Joe. I've seed these 2 figures listed from 2" to a little over 3.25" so they would still be a little on the smallish side.

I've not found a good comparison picture to something I recognize though...

I guess if anyone happens to have these first 3 figures it would be nice to get a comparison picture to see the scale.

Man those snap toys kits are impossible to find at a decent price (even with uplift).
