Daredevil's body's had quite a lengthy run:

Daredevil +(plus darker variant)
Bullseye +(plus darker variant)
Moon Knight
Union Jack
Daredevil (Yellow 3pk)
Hydra Agent
Vision
Bucky Cap
Magneto
Mr Fantastic
Caped Black Panther (2pk)
*Nick Fury
*SHIELD Agent
*Winter Soldier
*Jungle Punisher (2pk)
*HAMMER Norman Osborn (TBA)

Allegedly this body's been retired. A lot of people don't like this body. There's a bit of wonkyness in the hips and abs. *I added in the SHIELD body in the list as the last five even though I like its torso a lot better and think it looks much more proportionate.

Is the Black Spiderman body the new Daredevil? Here's his list:

Black Spider-Man (single)
Black Spider-Man (ComicPk)
Namor (SDCC)
Klaw
Iceman
Iron Fist (running change)
Spider-Man House of M
Nightcrawler
Mc'Spider-Man (ComicPk)
Archangel +(plus X-Force)
Havok +(plus unreleased variant)
Multiple Man
YellowJacket

This body's run its course. We need to demand an improved tall/lanky body that has the improved MU articulation, i.e. thigh cuts and neck artic.

I don't think the SHIELD/Winter Soldier body is the same as the DD body.

I thinkk the upperhalf of the torso is more taller and less hunched over then the DD

You're correct. Only the legs, arms and crotch are the same. The torso is different.

In some regards I think the torso is a huge change (for the positive). I wish they did it with Magneto/Mr Fantastic as it makes them stand more erect.

The arms don't bother me as they can be set in a casting/gun ready position. The legs I have a hard time with because the ball joints seem to never position themselves correctly *in the way you want it to*

But I think you are right about demanding a new tall and lanky body. I've been pondering the differences between the first series and the second series.

All the figures everyone is excited for seems to be new figures with new molds (Juggy, AIM, Ghost Rider etc). And we've seen in previous threads that amongst the favorite overall is Extremis IM, Modern Thor, AIM etc. All figures with sculpts which are newer and better then series 1.

When Hasbro is forced to come up with something new, it seems like they get better and better.

That's still considered average height for most adult males, 20 years or older. There's a spread that goes from about 5'-7" to about 5'-10". Anyone taller is technically considered above average (which most superheroes are).

In SHIELD we had a lot of shorter molds (Punisher mold, DD mold) and they got rid of those. In HAMMER, we are now seeing a lot of new molds and even custom molds for unique characters (Thor etc). But in effect, all the HAMMER figures are way bigger then SHIELD figures.

Example: House of M Spiderman TOWERS over Daredevil
But Black Spidey was part of the SHIELD series (wave 3, TBE)....

I understand that. The point I guess I was trying to make was that the figures that used the DD mold in effect got screwed over because they decided to make the figures for the most part taller.

So you have certain characters who should be tall, but are short in the scale of this toy series. Magneto, Mister Fantastic etc

Ah, makes more sense now. I just hope they will be able to continue making molds that are reuseable, but also match the characters that use them.
