Ok ok ok... I know that everyone and their mother has done at least ONE Deadpool. However, I really like how mine came out (as this is the second custom fig I've ever done). There are a few places where my paint has worn down because I didn't think to sand down the hips and they ended up looking pretty awful. I swear I had those paint lines straight before I played with him
Formula Head and harness: X-Men Origins: Wolverine Comic Deadpool Body: Steve Rogers Accessories: G.I. Joe swords, pistol, and Steve's pistol I made the pistol holsters out of a G.I. Joe sword sheath. I just cut sections off and added a small slit in the back to allow the triggers and things to slip in easier. Then I super glued them to the thighs. Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks! The bike was a Suzuki sport bike that I grabbed from Walmart. Then I painted it up with Deadpool colors. Last edited by Ultra Joshimus; 10-10-2012 at 09:55 PM.. Reason: Added pics! |

That turned out pretty badass.
Makes me hope hasbro does similiar with the Commander Rogers mold, but with a different harness or no harness. |

I LOVE everything except the swords- those are too large for the scale and look cartoony to me- I can float ya some GI joe katanas if you need- ptobably the scabbards too.
A really great Deadpool- he could use a shot of Dullvoat to look even better though....I think all figures could really, except armored or metallic guys.

Thanks guys! I appreciate your words ! I'll see what I can do about the swords. I have a collection of G.I. Joe accessories.
I also built a bike for him that I'll post later! *edit* I just posted the pics! Last edited by Ultra Joshimus; 10-10-2012 at 09:55 PM.. |

I did pretty much the same thing, but I used the comic pack Daredevil as a base. No excessive repainting needed! I just drybrushed him with another color of red to add depth, then painted on the black parts.
