I wish it was mostly new parts. Once I realized it was a kitbashed XMO Wolverine figure my desire died down dramatically. I wish the molds from that line sans Sabretooth were all retired.

Right now I'm the high bidder. If I win it that head is going in my store. If one of you guys win it then I'd like to borrow the head for a couple of days if you wouldn't mind helping me, and the rest of the community out.

During SDCC, iirc, someone here said that the head is actually from the movie Sabretooth figure from the XMO Wolverine line(the one with the jacket).

I don't know why I didn't see that at first. Thanks. Now to track one of those down. Shouldn't be too much.

It kind of adds insult to injury..using Creed's head as Wolverine's...I mean sure the head for movie Sabretooth was a movie likeness one..but still, Sabretooth parts for Wolverine?
I dunno, for now I think a Marvel Legends Old Man Logan would be a lot better. So far the Marvel Sub exclusives have all been easy kitbashes for Hasbro:

No way is that hunk of crap the actual exclusive figure. That would be incredibly disappointing.
The pictures in the panel were WAY better, separated claws and all... |

YES! one figure I DO NOT want in my Marvel Universe collection!!!!!! this figure looks like crap! I wouldn't buy a sub just for this figure and if I did get this figure from ordering a sub, I'd prob toss him in the fire pit. I hate how the people in singapore and china work in the factories and smuggle figures out and sell them on ebay months before they are released. makes me wonder "How? and Where? did they put the figures to smuggle them out of the factory" that Old man Logan was up some Old mans butt and now its on ebay...great plus look how crappy the paint apps are...whats the green stuff on his hands?!?! LOL I wish they made a new Old Man Logan and not reuse parts from the wolverine movie line.

I don't like when hasbro or kenner make a fig by putting it together with junk parts or retooled using dog figs. I've said it once before and ill say it again....WE WANT MEAT! FRESH MEAT! Then well give you our hard earned $!

If I were working in corporate for Mattel or Hasbro...I'd be pretty pissed. Yeah they make LOADS of $$$ and whats a few hundred figures spread across various lines, maybe most were trash figures anyway and supposed to be melted down, but it affects sales and values of the regular MSRP. then "we" have to pay more at retail. |
