Hasbro updated the inventory of MU figures. I just got another Archangel. They also have available Warpath, Sunfire, Jean Gray, Mystique and others. Use code SPRING20 to save 20%.

Thanks for the info. All of the updated ones are pre-orders and have notes that they will ship around April 25th.

great. the value of these just plummeted. the joy of the hunt becomes null and void when they are this readily available.

Good news for those still needing some of the older figures. I'm still deciding whether I want to continue collecting the line at all, or just pick up certain figures from now on.
What would you expect with mass retail releases? Eventually they do hit retail at some point. Besides, Hasbro already said they were doing revision cases that would include HTF figures from previous waves.

I hear you but as long as there is a demand, the figures will hold some value. I'd rather have some figures be readily available than only seeing 10 marvel universe iron man on every peg every single time I am on the hunt. Now that makes the hunt completely pointless, boring and a waste of my time. I've put in a preorder for a about 8 figures because there is no guarantee that I will find any of these at retail.

Field Guide To The Shopaholic | Psychology Today I agree somewhat with Andy too. I like seeing new stuff in the stores but it kind of bums me out when I have a figure that has been ultra rare and hard to find and suddenly a revision case comes out and the same figure is now everywhere and a dime a dozen. Then again, if I don't have a figure, I love finally finding it after searching for so long and having given up hope of ever having it short of painful e-bay prices. I guess it just depends on which side of the issue I am on at the time. Last edited by neatogecko; 04-01-2011 at 04:24 PM.. |
