Got a response from the seller and he stated that it is not the variant Daredevil, just the regular release. The only variant in that auction is Bullseye.

Hmmm... so Classic Havok was like the only true variant then? I mean he was actually wearing an entirely different uniform, but had the same card number.
I wish they would do more alternate uniform variants instead of just repaints or headswaps. Classic Havok is the only variant I currently have. I mean instead of releasing a different Wolvie every wave, they could make him have a variant costume and kill two Wolvies with one wave. |

I could swear Ronin's been restocked a couple times since the rumor of a black variant started. Nobody's ever seen him.
That "dark" Daredevil is also like the loch ness monster. A couple people have claimed to see him but only blurry pics to prove it. That Vision, Warpath and Wolverine variant from ComicFigs.net seem the most real to me since the pictures were the best. I want these the most. I don't know of any case revisions that are coming any time soon that will supply any of these variants. edit: daredevils body is too big around the middle. The new one next year will be amazing-er |

The Ms. Marvel would be a variant by any definition- new paint, headswap- you name it. |

Passed several times on black ronin a few months back. Not sure if that's even a question of existence any more though.
The 002 spidey is light blue all around if my memory serves me correct. I can snap a shot when I'm home this afternoon if still needed. |

A dark Daredevil has not been visually confirmed repeatedly. Once and a while there will be a person who says they saw it yet somehow can't take a cell phone picture of it. There's been like two pictures of it ever from a Chinese Ebay seller months ago and it could easily have been a paint job. It's never on Ebay, no one posts any pictures, . I know for sure a few other people here also saw this revision case. |

Guys, this thread is literally over a year and a half old. At that time, there was still some question as to the existance of some of the variants that we now know for certain exist.
There's no point in arguing it anymore.

Sorry for the blurry pic Vamp, my camera skills are...lacking. But the blue is pretty much a straight up light blue.

That's a good point. LOL. I don't have a modern Havok to compare, but at least they did both with him... and not just either a repaint or a headswap. Or just stick him with an extra accessory (like a baby, lol) or have him positioned upside down in the card or give him a different name on his stand like Tony Stark instead of IM.
I think she had a different number and cardart though... so she was like an entirely different fig instead of a variant. |

I have pictures of carded glossy vs. matte rulk and electro, but because they are carded and my photo skills are a failure it is kind of hard to tell. With Electro the best place to see the glossy vs. matte is usually on his crotch/yellow underpants piece.

My MU Variants - Toy Discussion at Toyark.com I'm just glad you didn't say flaming translucent Torch because he isn't a "variant". But now you have to add: astral Dr. Strange/Dr. Strange Absorbing Man/steel Absorbing Man I don't like counting stand variants but: Skaar/Son of Hulk Scarlett Spider/Spider-Man one right side up one upside down Sub-Mariner/Imperious Rex Tony Stark/Iron Man Last edited by Autobot_Goldbug; 10-15-2011 at 12:51 AM.. |
