The variant Ronin is black, versus the original charcoal gray, plus his body is positioned a bit differently in the bubble.

Is it just me or is it hard as hell to find them all let alone the variants.... like man if blade had a variant that's 2 rediculous figures I'd need to buy lol. Repaints are 1 thing, but repositioned figures ie spidey hanging upside down or standing normal, and stand variants are kinda weak variants, and is just enough to make completists cry lol. damn you variants lol.

I definitely agree with the packaging variants, which is why I generally ignore them. The stand variants, I give them a free pass. At least with those, you're getting something different. With the packaging variants, it's the same stuff - just rearranged in the bubble.

The only exception for me is when Hasbro gives one of those packaging variants a separate release number (I'm looking at you, Spidey).

And thanks to AndyCR75, I just realised that I have the light blue Bullseye. Crap, now I need to pay attention for the next time I see him on the pegs.

when I think of the amount of money spent on my collection, a HUGE per-figure chunk has come STRICTLY from variants. so yeah, curse you Hasbro, repeatedly

He was in a revision case a while back and a few stores had him about a month ago. But since I wasn't aware of a variant at the time, he barely registered during my toy aisle scan.

Hasbro is like Ghost Rider. They take their curse and use it to their advantage. The difference is Ghost Rider makes evil pay, while Hasbro makes collectors pay.

Shhhh! They'll hear you and start making two-pack variants!

Ah that brings up another question. Are both versions of the figure in the revision packs, or only the newer one? I would imagine with running changes, you don't get much of a choice, they just continue with the newer one.

I wish they would put the last two waves of the Hammer series into current revisions. I would love to find a single-packed Thanos on the pegs for once. Plus, it will give me a chance to complete that series (not counting variants).

Not sure if both were in the revision or not. I only saw him twice and I can't remember which one I saw. Hell, I thought I had the dark one all along.

You're right about running changes, though. In revision waves, it's always the newer one that will appear, while the original is never produced again.
