I believe he meant the body. In another thread he said he did the head swap with a extra Johnny body to give Reed correct proportions.

As for what custom he made with Reed's old body, I can't quite remember. I swear he mentioned it somewhere on TA, but I'm not sure.

I wasn't sure if it was dark blue or black since I have yet to see one. I only have the almost baby blue 1st run bullseye.

Won't buy Ronin because he is also Hawkeye and look a million times better as that.
Really? That's strange. The glossy one seems to be the one everyone sees.

On that note, I think I FINALLY saw the matte version of Electro tonight. Does anyone have that comparison picture handy? I want to make sure it's the right one I saw.

You sure about that? Could you find it? I can't.

Can you source that? I vaguely remember it, but all I can outright confirm is the other hair styles, not any other hair colors or waves for them.

Can't find it on comicfigs.net or CTR.

They both just list wave 7's (MU series 2 wave 2) figures, nothing on variants just yet.
Though we can confirm the other two red haired styles as per SDCC photos. I wish I could find confirmation on this blonde variation, as I do vaguely remember hearing it somewhere too, but can find no place to coroberate it as being real except for wiki, which by no means should be taken as fact.

Black Ronin was shown at SDCC and was mentioned in the Q & A's iirc. It may be hard to judge from the Pictures if it truly is darker, but the Q & A's should be specific enough about it. The Marvelousnews sdcc photos had it I know for sure. That's where I saw it.
Just as the darker daredevil has been coroberated too as fact.

Only according to you. Many of us have either seen it, or proof of it.

By your statements, even the Blonde Black Widow shouldn't be confirmed either. But both Dark Bullseye, and Dark DD have been visually confirmed repeatedly.

A Black Widow with different hair was said to be coming, rather than interchangable wigs, by Hasbro themselves during the December Q&A's. I guess calling it confirmed might not be the word, but it's incredibly obvious that it would be a variant. No other place for it to go.

A dark Daredevil has not been visually confirmed repeatedly. Once and a while there will be a person who says they saw it yet somehow can't take a cell phone picture of it. There's been like two pictures of it ever from a Chinese Ebay seller months ago and it could easily have been a paint job. It's never on Ebay, no one posts any pictures, it's nowhere.

You'd think, logically, that by this point SOMEONE would have taken ONE picture of it at a store or after they bought it.

I THINK it's real, but there's not enough to confirm it as fact -- much like Black Widow, which you are correct about. One simple not-fishy picture is all it would take.

Yeah well, real or not it seems that there are enough people that can confirm it to 1. be on Wiki and 2. to be mentioned here.

I also remember them showing the Black Widow in the Marvel Universe Power Point presentation. It showed her with red hair and an extra blonde hair piece. I know that somewhere...someone had mentioned it would be coming with the wig but...I may be wrong, since the stock photos of that wave clearly show her only coming with a gun accessory.

i saw the dark daredevil and i didnt take a picture because how was i supposed to know that it would become a mythical item.i cant take a picture of every new item i see , do you? why would i have a reason to lie to you it was 8inches from my face ,i know what i saw.the day i went to that comic book store they had all of the 2010 wave two months before i saw them anywhere else, they always get them earlier.

I remember that presentation, although it was probably a prototype is in clear evidence of the variant just through their general intentions

My Hulk from the Secret Wars 2-pack is missing the black paint app from his mouth. I'm going to assume it's not a variant unless someone else has maybe seen the same thing?

Yeah, but as I said above, Hasbro said in a Q&A that they changed their mind and that we would still get a version with different hair -- which would most likely be a variant of some kind.

That isn't the dark version of Daredevil though. That is without question the original.

http://www.toyark.com/news/attach/2/...1250713669.jpg

This is the dark Daredevil in question. The original picture that was floating around.

http://cgi.ebay.com/MARVEL-UNIVERSE-...#ht_2501wt_939

And this is the old Chinese Ebay listing. These are the two pictures. Of course, the Ebay listing is an out-of-package figure and the picture we have of it in package looks a lot glossier. Can't tell if that's the photo quality or not, but it looks pretty glossy or a lot darker.

Dayton, huh? Hell, if I knew the street address, I could just drive over there and get a better look myself. But based on the two pics we've seen previously, this new auction doesn't have the bright red gloves and boots. Looks like it just may be a factory error with the paint.

Eh, I sent the guy a question asking for a closer pic, so we'll see what he does.
