I'm wondering what version of the Surfer (3 so far!) they'll use.

Sorry if I came across as snappy- I'd rather hear nothing than unverified speculation, as so many trolls tark trash to get a rise (not saying you or Paul, just in general).
It's all good, we're cool. I figured if I mentioned his name it wouldn't mean anything for the reasons you mentioned. Me personally I'm the opposite as you. I like hearing news, unverified or not. It's the source and research that is important to me. Like Paul I try my best not to post anything I don't believe to be true

no pics of the other packs yet. They first showed up on Curto's checklist (he snuck them in and didn't say anything). Then it was later confirmed.

hmmmm...It would be cool to see Falcon in his original outfit- and the Doc Strange/Surfer pack is cool for those that missed out on them.
Best would be a Surfer with Doctor Strange legs for thigh swivels and rocker ankles- you could do so much with his poses if he had that!

They should've just done a Defenders box set- new Namor, Doc, New Hulk and Surfer- a pretty underpowered team.

From what I understood it's the 70's red & green Falcon.

It's suprising that I still find good stuff there at all- and I do! Maybe I'm just lucky or they have blown their budgets by the middle of the month or something.

It's annoying that some few figures are leaked or released or sold or stolen or whatever and get scalped for big bucks- usually it's just an availability issue from overseas, as they get stuff first, but not this time.
Hey look- the same guy that sold the figs before has more to sell-

Man, I hope he chokes on them! LOL!
Haha ya dang crazy, and there are even crazier people who actually buy them for that much!

I wonder what those would go for on Storage Wars.

Would they open all those cases without knowing what they're worth sealed?

I guess the A stands for Animal man then.

As to the OP, I really hope they don't include the old hulk, I don't think it'll sell well...though with the avengers out I guess it might.

Then again by the time they're released, nobody will remember the avengers.

No team is secret with a big blue monkey on it.
Hell, the whole team was shown to be a big non-secret in the big throwdown with the Hood/Illumaniti reveal- when Steve was shown to both completely lose his shit and start screaming at Tony.
Tony, for his part, keeps his cool and refrains from incinerating him.

Spidey's all like "Mom and Dad are fighting in front of everyone- even the "Secret" team"

So much so we tried to launch a Marvel sect rpg to battle against the Joe/Cobra rpg, only to be shot down by Echo whatshisface and "the stuper Mods." The same era where all these Marvel Universe sig banners were born. You can tell the O.G. crew by the "series #" on said sig banners.

The MUtant Movement, as it was called, fled to new pastures - marvelousnews and ToyArk - becuase your beloved HT did nothing but kick dirt in our eye.

Long ass story short... been there, established that.

That said, ToyArk is the new pink. I hope you enjoy your stay and look fwd to your contributions.

(Btw, I recall you had a child not long ago and shared your news w the MU thread over there. You see, I do know you. Lol. I too just had a son and shared the news w all my fabulous friends in the Marvel 3.75" Appreciation thread. I hope your child is well!)
I'm not into that rpg stuff, so its not a big deal to me. I like the guys and enjoy hanging out there, thats all.

Sorry you had a crappy ecperience there.

Congrats on your new bundle of joy!

Ha, ha! I'm in my 40s and have honestly been collecting since I was around 10. I've got 30+ years of stuff in there.

They tried that, it blew up in their face.

They are currently re-evaluating their position.

Which I decipher as, nothings going to happen.

But it was nice to attend Fan Day at Toy Fair. Hopefully they do it again next year!

I saw them the other day, wasn't excited about them, so I don't think I saved it. I'll poke around & if I can find them, I'll repost.

Honestly, it looked to me like the standard SS, but I'm no SS expert and reg Dr. Strange. Falcon had 70s garb & I can't recall Falcon.

You'd be surprised. There's stuff at home too, as much as the wife will allow.

I really can't explain it, but I enjoy having case assortments that go back 17 years and other crap like that, lol.

Just ordered, thanks!

Gotta give you credit man- in a sea of bullshitters, you've been proven to be the real deal- I'll only give you a little bit of a hard time in the future.

The Surfer thing is going to be tough to see in a pic- the carded release from wave 1 was a pretty dull plastic looking silver- they completely fixed that with the galactus release- they gave him the classic "eyeliner" arounf his eyes and a nicely chromey paint job. The SDCC Surfer is clear with some sparkley stuff in it (dont have that version).

The CP Falcon was in green?

Thanks dude.

From what I recall, yeah Red & Green Maybe? its all fuzzy now, but I'm not gonna give up the search. This may have been a dream, but I swear I saw a pic. The sets just didn't interest me enough to save it. I've now learned my lesson, lol....

Just ordered a case, glad to be splitting it with Rodimus, although the old Hulk and Ghost Rider just kill the case almost for me.

Ghost Rider is worth putting in a new case, I'm sure a lot of people missed out on it.

GR and Hulk can always go back to Target if you find some other MU's you'd rather have.
