Your right, I apologize for questioning why Hasbro would release another mold thats already in use because itd be absurd to complain about that. I really hope that the decision makers at Hasbro werent reading my post and decide to cancel this figure.

Daredevil - nicer sculpt from pics but dont like the colors, he's being made red as well right?
Thor - Pass, will keep my SDCC Thor, I like the head much better on the SDCC version
Captain America guy - I guess ill decide when I see this, not too crazy on the look of him
Storm - Pass, why another Storm? Any difference between this and either 5 pack Storm?
I'll be getting all of these figures. I LOVE the Thor, get an epic battle or something. My GF would probably enjoy the Daredevil and Iron Fist. So I'll be pre-ordering this for sure.

ill be getting Patriot cause thats probably the only Young Avenger were going to get, a MAYBE on the Thor, cause the modern Thor is the best in my eyes, and Iron Fists modern costume. I could care less about psylock and the shadowland daredevil.

Storm, hmm the new head sculpt looks good. Daredevil and Iron Fist: man those base bodies with RETOOLED thigh swivels are out there, why couldn't they use those bodies? Psylocke...that head looks like the Phoenix head.

AOT Thor looks okay, and I am definitely buying Patriot.

I'm kind of getting the impression that:

A) Hasbro is losing faith in this line and as such, money has been pulled out of MU.
B) Someone pocketed the the budget for MU and they're desperately trying to come up with something.
C) They've stopped giving a damn.

We've got 4 reused heads in this line and the Patriot head I could sculpt in my sleep. I'm not impressed. Come on, guys. We put up with this crap in the past but this is extreme. This is like He-Man/Faker, Starscream clones gone mad.

Unfortunately yes. I will get one anyway.
Storm new head sculpt? I don't think so. It looks the same as the 5 pack one. This is the modern version of Storm.
I'm skipping most of everyone else. Maybe I will get a Patriot.

The bigger reason is, Hasbro realized they're such clueless morons that they had to re-release Storm to fix the version in the 5 pack that basically had her arms completely fixed and unmovable due to her wrist cuffs pinned to her cape.

I agree with the hair, it's totally reused from Doc Samson, but the face sculpt does looks slightly different. But knowing Hasbro, I would say you're totally right on.

The arms aren't permanently tethered to the suit. And she has accessories.

I'm kind of pissed they messed up the Giant Size X-Men Storm only to re-release a better version of the same exact figure. Strapping the arms to the cape is one of the biggest screw-ups I've seen in a long time.

That Iron fist is totally the same mold, but it's the white costume from the recent-ish New Avengers story line.
Totally stoked to have a Psylocke for my 90's era Jim Lee X-Men(those are also her current digs), even if it is the weak-sauce old mold. And hopefully these will change, as I really think that's a Dark Phoenix head on her body!
As for Storm I say shit, man, it's her current costume, that's good enough for me!
DD there is all black from the recent Shadowland crossover and on a Guardian body. Sure, Hasbro.
Dig the Thor, but like I said, I'm hoping these heads are just placeholders.
And Captain Queef-cake on the Bucky mold? He's called Patriot... From the Young Avengers... Yeah...

I like this wave. Psylocke looks great. She could use a different hair style, but that's easy to fix.

You forgot
D) There are more MU figs comiing out than ever before and budget can not exceed sales plus profits if the line is to continue- therefor , just like every other toy maker ever, they reuse parts.
Biiiig deal.
If hasbro had in any way "lost faith" in the line, they'd be cutting back on the number of new figs instead of offering more- instead of offering charcters that casual fans might not know like Darkhawk or Patriot.
That's faith in sales, right there.

Look at those poor saps collecting DCU or MotU- same body every damn time.
MU's been good to us with variation.

Guys guys.. put down the torches and pitchforks.. this first picture could very well just be a prototype shoot. The actual figures are sure to vary a bit!
